Principles of Total Victory

From Our Pastor's Desk

Isaiah 55:8-9 - “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Our God is a God of infinite varieties, He has unlimited ways of doing His things. Of Him the Apostle Paul testifies, “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!

How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!” - Romans 11:33.   He is good and works in the best interests of all who put their trust in Him. There is much we stand to benefit, if only we are going to give Him the right of way in the matters of our life.

Naaman was a Syrian military general with great prowess, but he was a leper. He carried the shame of his condition for several years until, by divine providence, he got useful hints about how to be cured of his leprosy.

Then he went down to Samaria. 2nd Kings 5:9-14 has his story. The thoughts of Naaman were that Prophet Elisha would make obeisance before him & make some enchanting call upon his god to cure him of his leprosy.

But the man felt so disappointed, humiliated and infuriated, that Elisha did none of those things. Namaan embarked on a return journey home, with his leprosy intact. If not for the persuasion of his more reasonable servants, the great warrior would have missed the miracle of his life and remained shamefully leprous for the rest of his life.

This teaches us, Brethren, that it’s not about how and when we want God to do things in our lives, it’s about giving God the 100% right of way to do as He wills.

We shall not lose our victory, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed. Shalom.

Guard Your Victory

By: Deaconess Florence Oyedeji

When I first heard the theme of this month, it reminded me of the quote from late Dr. Martin Luther King “Free at last, free at last, thank God we are free at last!”
The way it is worded shows a panting, a desire, a long-awaited hope that had now been realized. VICTORY AT LAST!

Just as we’ve been en-joined in the Bible to work out our Salvation with fear and with trembling (Phil. 2:12), we also need to guard our Victory (Eph. 6:13). There are divers ways one can lose one’s victory.

However, I have this urge within me to speak about the sin of “BACKSLIDING” (Jer. 8:5, Pro. 14:14; 26:11) Using the example of Apostle Peter. He was an epitome of The Mighty that fell during the trial and crucifixion of Jesus Christ (Mark 14:72)

Only a believer can backslide, because it involves an initial acceptance of Christ then a subsequently falling away from his precepts (For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them -2 Peter 2:21).

It is a great enemy of Believers. Most of us don’t pay much attention to it, because it can be very subtle.  It’s so subtle that sometimes even the believer who is engaged in the act may not even be fully aware of the fact until it’s too late. We shall not lose our victory, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.

Hold on to Your Faith

By. Sis. Ehis Precious Erhunmwuosere

One of the people in the Bible who exercised faith was Job. He was a very righteous and wealthy man who loved God unconditionally.

He had ten children, a wife and servants.  God gave satan the permission to tempt Job but not to touch him. Afterwards, Job lost his children, property and wealth. Everything that he had was gone (Job 1:13 – 19).

This was where Job’s battles began; poverty fell on him, lost properties, family and his health (Job 2:7).
What’s striking about Job was his response to all his predicaments – Job 1:21-22 – “And he said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly"
Most people’s response, in terrible situations are so “UNGODLY”. For example, we all can sing praises to God in a good day, but it takes a person of a tremendous faith and tremendous spiritual maturity to sing those same songs of praise on terrible days.

But if you can give God praise in that terrible situation, you have therefore, given God a precious gift and will make Him to give you double portion of what you had lost; just exactly the way He did to Job.

So, brethren, hold on to your faith, because without your faith you cannot please God.

Hebrews 11:6 May our latter be greater than our former, our end shall be greater than our beginning, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.

Stairway to Victory

Suddenly, the battle came to king Jehoshaphat. He didn’t ask for it, he wasn’t the cause; he didn’t induce it. It just came.
2nd Chron. 20:1 - “It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle…”

Young king Jehoshaphat was a beloved, righteous king who put everything into the service of Jehovah. But he still came under attack.

Three powerful kings just rose up one morning and decided to combine their armory, soldiers, strength and attack him.
He did nothing to provoke these kings. Little wonder, David said, many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all.  But, before being delivered, the righteous faces attack too.

It doesn’t matter how righteous we are, we face attacks, downturns, loss, adversity, afflictions etc. We are not immune. In fact, the more righteous we are, the more enemy attack we are likely to face. Scary, right? Many are the afflictions of the righteous….. So, my brethren, we shouldn’t say ‘I live for God, I faithfully pray, fast and I pay my tithe and do everything well but I don’t know why God would allow all this to happen to me.’

If it doesn’t happen to you, who will it happen to?  But we should be of good cheer. And Proverbs 11:21 says “Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered”

We do not fight alone. The battles are not even ours. Jehoshaphat came under a confederate allied attack of a combined army of three nations, but he was victorious. And today, we would see the steps he took unto his victory.

Jehovah Sabaoth, the Man of War, One that has never lost & will never lose a battle, will take over our battles of life, in Jesus Name

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.

From Our Pastor's Desk - December is Our Month of Victory At Last

Welcome to this Our New Month of Victory At Last, in Jesus name.

The Bible uses many terms to describe those who have entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. For instance, we are called Christians.
We are also called the children of God; children of light; children of obedience etc.

But there is another title John used, and it is the title “Overcomers”. 1st John 5:4 – “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith”

This Scripture depicts our victorious lives. Over-comer literally means victor. One of the truths about a Christian believer is that he is in Christ.

The Believer is in an indivisible union with Christ Himself and as a result, is a partaker of His divine nature.

He partakes of everything that Christ is and has, including His inheritance, righteousness, death, life, and Spirit. Since Christ is a victor, we par-take of His victory.

The believer then, is a victor. Those who have been born of God are true overcomers, conquerors, victors.  Brethren, this last 2017 month of Victory At Last, we have victory over satan (Rev. 11:12 - "They overcame him by the blood of the lamb…”); over death (1st Cor.15:54 – “…Death is swallowed up in victory”); and over the world (1st John 5:4 – "Whatever is born of God overcometh the world") through Jesus Christ, our Lord & Savior, in Jesus Name.
Amen.

Time to Speak

From Our Pastor's Desk

Ecclesiates 3:1 – “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every pur-pose under the heaven…a time to keep silence, and a time to speak…” Still on the plan set forth by the Lord in Joshua 6.

A continuation of last week’s discussion, illustrating the principle that God’s plan of salvation and deliverance is not a plan that man would design.  On the 7th day, God instructed them to do an accelerated marching, then to make a loud noise.

The 7th day, the day of completion.  The problem with many of us is that we do 6 days of noise-making, shouting, then 1 day of silence.

When we go into battle, we announce our presence…then the mighty men of the cities take positions, the kings take positions and they start shooting their arrows.

But God says, don’t let them have any clue what you are about to do. You’re coming from underground; underneath them don’t make noise, confuse your enemy  On the final day, God told them to go round 7 times.

Then the 7th time, to make a loud, earth-quaking shout. Speaking, at the right time, in an indication of making use of a right moment, right opportunity. There is a time and season for everything on earth. A lot of people inexplicably miss their opportunities or appointed seasons, to speak out. Opportunities by nature is only available to us for a limited time before it is moved on for another person.

For example, Jesus’ walk through Jericho was not just any opportunity for Bartimaeus, it was his only chance as it was the very last time the Lord would walk that way to Jerusalem before His crucifixion. For Bartimaeus, it was his set time, he entered into it and his story changed for good.

May we never miss our time appointed, in Jesus Name.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Part 1 - Time to Keep Silence

From Our Pastor's Desk

Ecclesiates 3:1 – “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…a time to keep silence, and a time to speak…”

The plan set forth by the Lord in Joshua 6 certainly illustrates the principle that God’s plan of salvation and deliverance is not a plan that man would design. If Joshua had met with his military advisors, no one would have come up with this unusual plan.

Six days of utter silence & 1 day of deafening shout. The ordinary methods and weapons of warfare like battering rams or scaling ladders or towers were not to be used at all.

A strategy not employed again with other cities, it teaches us that though we have human responsibilities in tearing down the strongholds raised up against the knowledge of God, victory is dependent on two things: God’s power and faith in His instructions. Hebrews 11:30 When God gives instructions, they are detailed and specific.

God wants His instructions carried out accurately and in details. HE gave Israel specific instructions.  Part of the divine instructions is the weapon of silence. I imagined this must be difficult for them.

Millions of people marching around a city without a word, not even a whisper! There were the priests with their trumpets, those with the ark, the armed men and then the rest of the people. They were to be in utter silence.

Even the women & children. For six whole days. This strategy illustrates and teaches us the principle of being silent before God and just resting in Him.

Exodus 14:14 – “The Lord will fight for you while you keep silent…”, in Jesus Name You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.

Trust in God's Perfect Timing

By: Bro. Sola Afolabi

Imaginative thinking of God's Time.

Human Timing— 60min = 1hour; 24hours = 1 Day; 7days = 1 week; 4 weeks = 1 Month; and 12month = 1 year
God’s Timing - 2 Peter 3:8-9 (MSG) - “Don’t overlook the obvious here, friends. With God, one day is as good as a thousand years, a thousand years as a day.

God isn’t late with His promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn’t want any-one lost.

He’s giving everyone space and time to change.” God’s Time of 1 Day = Human Time of 1000

Years Cross Analysis:
* For us to live a day in God Time, we need to live a thousand years.
* In human calendar, we are in 2017 (two thousand and seventeen years). God has only lived 2 days of our entire human calendar.
*Just like two parallel lines, if we compare our time to God’S Time, we can never receive the answers to our prayers

Conclusion:
God created humans; humans created the clock. But humans want to time God with the clock.  Our God is not a human mathematician, His grace is sufficient for us and we just need to trust in his Time. We trust in God promises, now we need to trust in God’s Timing. Believing in God’s promises and not trusting God’s Timing leads to frustration.

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.

The Law of Timing

From Our Pastor's Desk

Ecclesiastes 3:1 – “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose un-der the heaven…” John Maxwell said in his book, “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership” that the Law of Timing is that “when to lead is as important as what to do and where to go.”
Also, Winston Churchill once remarked “there comes a special moment in everyone’s life, a moment for which that person was born. That special opportunity, when they seize it, will fulfill their mission – a mission for which they are uniquely qualified.

In that moment they find greatness. It is their finest hour.” Put in another phrase, we can say the law of timing, in conjunction with Churchill, preaches “there are certain windows of opportunity when – if you don’t take a risk and move forward – your effectiveness could come to a standstill”

So, it’s not just enough to have a special moment, one must seize that moment by understanding/operating within the law or timing. One must recognize that window of opportunity, seize it and make use of it, to the fullest.

An opportunity is a favorable time or occasion when we make a decision that will impact our lives in a positive way; it can be described as a gift from the Lord.  In Mark 10:46-52, Jesus decided to walk through Jericho. It became a God-ordained opportunity for those in Jericho. It was not just any opportunity for Bartimaeus, it was his only chance as it was the very last time the Lord would walk that way to Jerusalem before His crucifixion.

For Bartimaeus, it was his set time, he entered into it and his story changed for good. Blind beggar Bartimaeus understood the law of timing, recognized the opportunity, and made up his mind to seize his season. May we never miss our set time & appointed time, in Jesus Name You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.
Shalom.

From Our Pastor's Desk - November is Our Month of God's Perfect Timing

Welcome to this Our New Month of God’s Perfect Timing, in Jesus name. God has a fixed time for everything. Eccl.3:1—"For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven" God plans His time and keeps to it. God is a Master Planner.
John Maxwell concurs with Solomon in his “Law of Timing” that there is a time/season for everything.

We are beings of times and seasons. Whoever controls our times & seasons controls our destiny.

Time is essential to our lives. We plan our lives based on time. But with all this planning, & “time management” we are left, most times, “waiting”.
We wait on life; we wait on God for answers to prayers, for healing, promotion, relationships, etc. And nothing is more irritating to us than waiting. Why should we be waiting? The answer lies in God’s perfect timing. He is never early or late.

God will bring the right persons & right things into our lives at His right time. We should always believe that. If they are not there, God isn't finished yet!

We should not doubt, resist, or resent God’s timing when it doesn’t correlate with our plans, or desires.  This month of God’s Perfect Timing, and beyond, God will order our times and seasons in Jesus name.

He will make ALL things beautiful for us, in His time, in Jesus Name.
Amen.

Blessings of God's Double Portion

By Deacon Wilson Shofolahan

In 2nd Kings 2:9-10, Elijah told his servant Elisha, "he has asked a hard thing" from him. You can only give what you have, goes the popular saying.
You cannot go to a petty trader to ask for a $10 million loan, he would look at you thinking you must've missed your way.  Firstly, being human, he cannot give more than his limited portion.

Secondly, an average human being wants to be the greatest and would shy away from making you their equal, talk less of making you greater.

But James 1:17 says "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above ......." Psalm 75:6-7 says "For promotion cometh neither from the East, nor from the West, nor from the South. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another”

A double portion of whatever your heart's desire can only be gotten from the Almighty God, who is the Creator of heaven and earth, the owner of silver and gold, Jehovah Jireh, the giver of what money can buy, and what money cannot buy.

However, God's gift or His blessings which does not add sorrow is conditional, Deut 28:1 and Exodus 15:26 emphasized that only if you will hearken diligently to His voice, all the double portion of your heart's desire and good health to go with it can be yours.

Children of God are denied Double Portion of blessings from above because of disobedience says Isaiah 59:1-2. Elisha was obedient to his master Elijah, who was himself a servant of God, and was diligent to the end, and he got the double portion of his master's spirit as desired.  Our God is no respecter of persons Acts 10:34. He can do it for you.

The grace of obedience, God will release into our lives, and the double portion of all our heart's desire shall be given to us today, in Jesus Name

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.

The Double Portion for the First Born

In every home with children, there is a firstborn. The firstborn grows up with a special destiny. Firstborns are thrust into the role of trailblazers and natural leaders.

They represent the future hope of the family and its name. They are also regarded as the first heirs of the family. According to ancient tradition found in Scripture, all of the children of a family should receive an equal share of the inheritance, but the firstborn receives a double portion.

The Scripture speaks of this blessing of the firstborn as the birthright blessing. The concept of the double portion is first mentioned in the Law of Moses: “But he shall acknowledge the firstborn . . . by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the firstfruits of his strength. The right of the firstborn is his” - Deuteronomy 21:17.

A firstborn was entitled to receive twice the inheritance of that of a father’s other sons, in addition to the right of succession.

Since the Mosaic Law stipulated a double portion for firstborns, the concept has been used throughout history to refer to God’s abundant blessing. Jesus Christ is called the “firstborn over all creation” - Colossians 1:15, a title that indicates His position as the Blessed One and rightful Heir of all things. The position was one of great honor and responsibility.

Many are the blessings of the Firstborn. There is nothing wrong with being the 2nd, 3rd or Nth born. Some Firstborns have lost their privileges and it has gone to others. Examples are Esau, Reuben etc.

May we never lose our privilege and double portions, in Jesus Name You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.
Shalom.

The Wisdom to Double Portion

By Sis. Judy Nderitu

"Wisdom," in the Bible, "is knowing the greatest goal in any situation, and the best way to achieve that goal.
Wisdom sees the big picture, in focus, each part in its proper relationship to rest.  Double portion means two fold, twice as much, a supernatural increase.

Double portion cannot happen outside of God. It is being in God that gives us godly desires and ultimately godly results.

The Bible says that it is He that gives us the power both to will and act Phil 2:13. Its therefore very important to understand  Gods wisdom on double portion in our lives.

It is not the will of God for his children to struggle in any aspect of their lives. Our experiences as children of God should be completely different from the rest. There is a preserve for God's children that opens up doors for double portion, for increase.

It is this preserve that made Elisha stick to Elijah as seen in 2nd Kings 2, it is this preserve that made Ruth cling to Naomi on her return to Bethlehem Ruth 1 and also made Jacob wrestle the angel of God till dawn Genesis 32: 22-32.

This preserve is called the WISDOM of God. James 1:5 tells us to ask for wisdom if we lack it for Gods gives liberally. Gods wisdom is given to provide glory in our lives.

If we are not walking In glory in any aspect of our lives, Gods wisdom is required. If we are not experiencing a double portion in our finances, health, careers, marriages, happiness etc, we need Gods wisdom.

The Lord shower upon us His wisdom, in Jesus Name.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Receiving Double Portion

From Our Pastor's Desk

Near the end of Elijah’s time on earth, he offered his assistant Elisha a gift: “What can I do for you before I am taken from you?”

Elisha answered, “Please let there be a double portion of your spirit on me” – 2nd Kings 2:9. Elisha received a double portion from Elijah. Elisha received because of his faithfulness, amongst other virtues.

Even though Elijah and the sons of the prophets both seemed to try to dissuade Elisha from following, he was faithful. He was not going to be dissuaded.  A faithful Christian will not be pulled away from serving the Lord by a whim or by some unimportant, irrelevant, trivial reason.

A lot of people are simply sitting, waiting for something to fall out of Heaven. You need to commit to a good local church and do your part to help make it a great church. Join up and then show up! Many of us are just involved in the ministry (nonchalantly, waiting to be told before they do, and unreliable).

Few are just committed (but when push comes to shove, they have alternatives). Only a few are really faithful, tending towards loyalty.  2 Timothy 2:2 – “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also” 1 Corinthians 4:2 – “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful” Elisha knew how to serve.

Do you want the double portion anointing? Get involved in church or a ministry and start serving. When you serve you are sowing your life as seed for an anointing that one day will be yours.

Double portion is available, for those who are faithful, committed, humble servant leaders. You will then see yourself scaling new heights supernaturally  and breaking new grounds; accomplishing new things that eyes have not seen nor ears heard.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

The Elisha Generation

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Near the end of Elijah’s time on earth, he offered his assistant Elisha a gift: “What can I do for you before I am taken from you?”

Elisha answered, “Please let there be a double portion of your spirit on me” – 2nd Kings 2:9.  Elisha’s request was to be considered the successor of Elijah and to be “doubly blessed” with power in the prophetic office.

Through-out 2nd Kings, the many miracles Elisha per-formed confirm that he had indeed been grant-ed a double portion. In the whole of the Bible, specific references are made to a “double portion.”

When someone receives a double portion, it means he gets a gift twice as much as that given to others. Elisha received a double portion from Elijah.  Many people pray like Elisha, "Lord, give me a double portion of your anointing." Yet they do not realize the preparation that is involved for such a miraculous thing to occur.

The Elisha Generation is the generation of believers who desire, seek, receive and walk in the double anointing. They are faithful, dependable, humble, respectful and know how to serve. Elisha knew how to serve.

Do you want the double portion anointing? Get involved in church or a ministry and start serving. When you serve you are sowing your life as seed for an anointing that one day, sooner than later, will be yours. Glory Hallelujah!

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed. Shalom.

From Our Pastor's Desk - October is Our Month of Double Portion

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Welcome to this Our New Month of Double Portion, in Jesus name.

Portion means an individual quantity or allotment of something taken as part of its whole. When someone receives a double portion, he gets a portion (slice, quantity, amount or piece) twice as much as that given to others.

In Isaiah 61:7 – “For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them” God promises a double portion of joy and blessing upon His children.

In 2nd Kings 2:9, Elisha asked Elijah “I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me” Elisha was to be considered the successor of Elijah and to be “doubly blessed” with power in the prophetic office.

He received his request. The many miracles Elisha performed confirm that he had indeed been granted a double portion. From Jacob to Joseph in Genesis 48:22 – “Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren…”

This month of Double Portion, the Lord will doubly bless every Mercy Seatizen, with power, grace, increase, joy, promotion and anointing.

He will anoint thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows, in Jesus Name.

Amen.

Doing the Impossible

By Minister Joseph Nnaji

Without controversy it has been established beyond any reasonable doubt that the Almighty God can do all things.

Angel Gabriel when announcing to Mary that her cousin Elisabeth is pregnant at her old age reminded her, "that with God nothing shall be impossible." -
Luke 1:37 God does not need to convince Himself that He can do all things, it is the doubting Thomases that needs proof.  The Lord has also given us power to do the impossible, apostle Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

In Genesis 11:6, God said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible." God made it clear that nothing is impossible for men to achieve if they plan to do it.

Matthew 21:21 says, "If you have faith, you'd say to that mountain be removed." Joshua understood this, which is the why he commanded the sun and moon to stand still and they stood.

Peter walked on water to meet Jesus who was walking on water. David ran towards Goliath when others were hiding and running away from him.

Jesus said that the miracles He did we'll do also, and even do greater things.

Glory Hallelujah!

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.

God's Vision Comes With His Provision

By Sis Christie Ndouli

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” –Mark 10:27

What comes to mind when you hear the phrase, “Mission IsPossible”?  Some people might think of the movie, “Mission Impossible,” others may think about their own personal experience where they thought they wouldn't be able to make it, but God brought them through.

During your mission, God will not forsake you nor leave you. Although Joseph was in prison, he stayed faithful to God and God continued to bless him.  Joseph uses his faith in God to endure the suffering.

And by Joseph enduring his portion of suffering, it allows people like us to see that hope does not come from going around (avoiding) suffering, but rather going through it.

He will make a way. Take for instance the song, “Made a Way,” by Travis Greene, which describes the epitome of “Mission IsPossible.”

The chorus sings “You made a way/ When our backs were against the wall/And it looked as if it was over/ You made a way/ And we're standing here/ Only because You made a way/ You made a way.”  Even better than the chorus, the bridge digs deeper and reads, “You move mountains/You cause walls to fall/ With Your power/ Perform miracles/ There is nothing that's impossible/ And we're standing here/ Only because You made a way.”  With all that being said, “Mission IsPossible” refers to God making a way in our lives when man deems it impossible.

Halleluyah.

Keep on Keeping on

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

“So we built the wall and the whole wall was joined together to half its height; for the people had a mind to work”. Nehemiah 4:6.

We all know that a race is never won unless one finishes it. One never even starts a race unless one believes it can be done.

In order to begin and end an endeavor, it takes the right attitude and determination to finish what one starts.

The dictionary says “…persistent determination is the act of deciding definitely and firmly to a purpose, and keeping at it…” It is perseverance, patience, resolve, and tenacity.

Thomas Fuller (1608–61), an English preacher and author said "An invincible determination can accomplish almost anything and in this lies the great distinction between great men and little men."

The Bible records many great heroes who demonstrate the virtue of determination to accomplish the impossible. Joshua and Caleb, in Numbers 14, were the only two spies that were determined to take Canaan. God told Mary that she was going to have a child without meeting with any man; that was impossible!

In ALL of the success stories in the Bible and any in the world, not one was achieved without “dogged” determination. It is a virtue, a quality that sets suc-cessful men/women apart, that separates “great men from little men”.

When builders are opposed and ridiculed, when adversaries make their plots and plan their evils, remember that with prayer and determination, you will get your “WALLS” built and completed. Nehemiah did it.

You will do it. Nothing shall be impossible for you. Nothing shall stand in your way, in Jesus Name.

Halleluyah!
You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.

Believe the God of All Possibilities

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

John 9:1-7 tells us the story of a man born blind. Now, there is a difference between being born blind and getting blind after birth by some freak accident. The latter could be cured by medical experts.
But the former? Before men his situation was impossible… "but not with GOD".

Jesus replied the people in Luke 18:27 - "What is impossible with men is possible with God."  The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

God did before, still does, and can & will do the impossible for us. Yes, that’s exactly what He said in His word. Where we cannot, where experts cannot, where government cannot, God can!

He is the GOD of possibilities. No matter how terrible ones situation may seem, it is possible with GOD. Those that believe the impossible experience the unimaginable and receive the miraculous.

He will take care of those needs of yours. But you must learn to trust & believe the God of impossibilities, then expect the impossible, expect the unusual, expect the miraculous, expect the extraordinary, expect the supernatural, because that is where GOD specializes.

Then, the man in John 9 whose eyes were restored said in verse 32, " Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind " but Jesus did.

Halleluyah!
You will have good success this 2017.

From Our Pastor's Desk - September 2017 - Our Month of Great Possibilities

Welcome to this Our New Month of Great Possibilities, in Jesus name.
Our God is a great God. The One & only true Living God.
He is all-powerful, omnipotent,  and with Him there are no impossibilities. Jesus replied in Luke 18:27, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."

He is the covenant-keeping, promise-fulfilling & need-meeting God. Lots of promises may seem too good to be true in the Bible; but believe God, all those promises are Yea & Amen!

The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
Even the word impossible says “I’m possible”. Inside every CAN'T is CAN, inside every IMPOSSIBLE is POSSIBLE.

God told Mary that she was going to have a child without meeting with any man; that was impossible! Think of it. If you were Mary, wouldn’t you have dismissed the word as impossible?

Indeed, this month holds immensely Great Possibilities for change and new directions for us. It does not matter what we have been through these past months or years, God is stepping into our situations this month.

Every word He has spoken to us will bring about great possibilities. God can and will do the impossible in our lives.

So, as you’re ready to believe the impossible, you will receive your miracle & experience the unimaginable, in Jesus Name.

God's Got my Back

By Sis Bethel Adewale

What does it mean for someone “to have your back”? For someone to have your back it means they are there to support you unconditionally.

They’re there for you without complaint, supporting you in your time of need. And they’re not for their own selfish, self-gratifying reasons, but because your well being to them is foremost in their mind and heart.

Who has my back? I would firstly say my parents have my back all the time.

Secondly, I can always count on my sister to have my back. And thirdly, I would say my closest of friends have my back. My real friends, true friends.

But who else has my back? God. God will always have my back. He will always be there, by my side. He watches jealously over me. And underneath me are His everlasting arms. I am shielded and encompassed round-about by His presence.

Same goes for you too, and ALL of us. Deuteronomy 31:6 says “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” God will never leave us nor will He forsake us. He has our backs, and He’ll always be there to protect us. Hallelujah.

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.

He is Our Backer, Not Backup

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Hebrews 12:2 – “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God”

An author is defined both as "the person who originates or gives existence to anything" and as "one who sets forth written statements" in the Oxford English Dictionary. This definition suggests that authorship determines responsibility for what is created.

Jesus is the Biographer. He writes the prologue, story & epilogue of our faith, IF WE LET HIM. But, unfortunately, what we do is we attempt to do it first.

We attempt to do our things first, without involving Him from the beginning. We go off each day without asking Him to take control of the day. We fix our lives, fix our marriages, and fix that child.

We try to fix that church program, fix that brother or sister, work out, and strategize on how to plan our future. Never asking God for His advice until all is said and done and we are in a  mess up.

Oh, don’t we mess things up! Then we remember Him. The mess is so big the only one who could fix it is Jesus.

The Lord simply wants us to look to Him, not after the mess is too big for us to handle – but in a ll we do we should seek the Lord.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed. Shalom.

When God's Got Your Back

By Minister Rowan Samuel

If ever there was a dysfunctional family in the Bible it was that of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
In this family was born a young man named Joseph and his brother Benjamin. Abraham lied about his wife Sarah, Isaac followed suit, and Jacob was the kind of guy you wouldn't want to run into in a dark alley.

He was tricky from the womb and yet God said of this heel-catcher I love him.

Of Jacob was born the Twelve Tribes of Israel including his son Joseph who was very special to his father because he was from Rachel his special wife who he served 14 years to make her his wife.

Parents who openly favor one child over another are creating a problem. This became a problem for Joseph that his brothers wanted to kill him but God had his back so he was sold into slavery. God was however with him in Every Situation.

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.

Attracting God's Backing

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Just because some of us are saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Spirit, that doesn’t mean we are exempted from trouble times.

John 16:33 & Psalms 34:19 both imply trouble times for the righteous, but God did not stop there. He gave the assurance that we are alone, helpless & hopeless. He has our backs.

When a person says they has your back; it means they are there to help you out, they will watch out and take care of the things you're likely to miss, that they are a second set of eyes and hands for you.

That you shouldn’t worry about a thing, they’d take care of everything, and they got you covered.

If you’ve ever found yourself in the midst of trouble, problems, unfavorable circumstances, alone, no help, difficult dilemmas, and messed up moments…when hell & havoc comes your way, know this & hold fast to it with all your faith and might, God’s got your back.

But to attract God’s backing, there are some practical steps one will need to take, first and most important of which is to confess Jesus as Lord & Saviour, and give one’s life to unreservedly to Him.
You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.

From Our Pastor's Desk - August 2017 - Our Month of God's Backing

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Welcome to this Our New Month of God’s Backing, in Jesus name.

Isaiah 52:12 - “For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rear guard”

Rereward means rear guard, which simply & literally means that God's got your back! Because man was not designed by the Creator with eyes in back of his head, God has covenanted with His people to protect and guard them from behind.

The enemy attacks front & back. We have armors, helmet, breastplate, shield & sword (Ephesians 6:10-18), designed to protect frontal attacks, but for the sneak enemy attacks that come from behind, the onslaught of back-biters, back-stabbers, traitors, slanderers etc, God promises that His presence will cover us in the front & from behind. In other words, nothing about us is left exposed for open access to the enemy.

Isaiah 58:8-”Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, & your righteousness shall go forth before you; the Glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard." This month, our God will go before us & watch us from behind where we can't see the enemy coming.

The Lord mighty in battle will have our backs, all our days, in Jesus Name.
Amen

All Surpassing Peace
By Pastor 'Deji Adewle.

Philippians 4:4-7 – “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”

This part of the Bible talks about the relationship between some choices we make and God’s peace. For peace that surpasses all understanding, Paul says we must rejoice, be gentle, be not anxious but pray with thanksgiving.

Then, God’s peace, even in hard situations, will flow & stand guard to keep our hearts and minds. God desires to give us His peace but those are a few choices that we need to make along the way. As soon as difficulty arises and pain intrudes, a per-son ceases to rejoice.

But joy is a gift from God that enables believers to find hope and peace—even when life seemingly falls apart.  The love of Almighty God is unconditional, and His indwelling Spirit will never abandon us.

He understands everything that we face and promises to provide for our needs.  When we stop to consider the amazing blessings that are ours in Christ, gratitude should overwhelm us.

Sadness concerning circumstances may still endure, but the joy of the Lord will carry us through even the deepest pain

So, as we rejoice, live humbly and pray, trusting God that He will bring about His will in our lives; as we go through life with less anxiety because we know God is in control; it is then that we experience the peace of God which transcends all understanding.

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.

Peace Like a River

By: Pastor Dr. Oladotun Reju

John 14:27 - “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid”.

Peace means rest, safety, good health, quietness, prosperity. Peace is being calm and having no troubles what so ever, even in the midst of chaos or storm.

Peace is truce, ceasefire, treaty, armistice, pacification, conciliation, cessation of hostilities, rest, stillness, calmness.  All the listed meanings of peace can never be experienced in life except God is involved.

It is only the peace of God that can allow someone to live in trouble times and with the threat of persecution all around.  Peace from above is available but only to those that are close to God and put their trust in Him.

Psalms 9:10  And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Psalms 125:1  They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

Psalms 18:30  As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Know that “storms without God will break you. Storms with God will make you” From this moment onward you will begin to enjoy peace – physical peace, financial peace, spiritual peace, all-round peace, in Jesus Name.

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.

Peace of the Puzzle

By Master Rilwan Daniel Olunlade

Peace is being calm and having no troubles what so ever.  There can be no room for jealousy, envy, bad temper, selfishness, or pride in a soul filled with peace, for all these things are disturbing factors in the heart.

Our sense of peace comes from God. In the Scriptures, we are told not to be anxious or fearful, but rather to trust in God and His Word. Proverbs 3:5 says  “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding”.

As much as we want we should try not to feel anxious about the things that weighs heavy on our hearts because it will quickly fade away with the Lord in our lives.  John 14:27 says “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart.

And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. The world cannot give you peace, only the Lord can.

God promises to “keep in perfect peace all who trust in [Him], all whose thoughts are fixed on Him. How perfect is God’s peace you might ask.

Well, God’s peace is perfect in QUALITY. It is not an imperfect peace. It is the peace that calms you down even when things are rough.  God’s peace is perfect in QUANTITY. It meets our exact needs.

God’s peace is perfect in CONSTANCY. It is permanent and forever for as long as we live.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.  Shalom.

The Great Peace of God

By: Pastor 'Tayo Adewale

Peace, according to the dictionary means freedom from disturbance. While in the Bible it actually means not just the absence of trouble or conflict, but the calm in the midst of the storm, according to Ephesians 2:14.

The Hebrew meaning of Peace is Shalom, meaning wellness. We live in a world full of war and violence, yet God promises us great, perfect peace

Psalm 29:11. Peace even in the midst of trouble, we all need peace. Everyone desires peace. I don't know anyone of sane mind and decent character, who would chose conflict and chaos over peace.

We all have one or two things we are disturbed by, so peace is a universal need and God has an answer for it. The Lord didn't promise that we will live a problem free life, but He did say we will have His peace.

This peace is from the throne room of God. Not the type of peace the world gives, like peace through yoga meditation, alcohol, cigarettes, sex, music, medicine or whatever. It's the great, perfect peace of God like a river that surpasses all human understanding. Halleluyah!

God wants to give you true peace. You cannot experience that if you are not at peace with God, the Prince of Peace Himself. Let's stop looking for peace of mind when God wants to give us mind of peace. Peace regulates the day when Jesus Christ regulates the mind.

No peace without Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace Himself. Isaiah 9:6

You will have good success this 2017.

The Prince of Peace

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”

Peace. Picture peace for a moment. What comes to mind is rest, quietness, harmony, safety, good health… all things good.

The other side (antonym) of peace is war. Trouble, lack of rest, disturbance, everything unpleasant, pressure, tension, insecurities, unrest, or the common Biblical word - storm.

Anytime we hear the word storm; ugly pictures go through our minds. Storms have resulted in different levels of nervous and emotional strain. Sometimes, we look around and do not know where to cast anchor.

However, at the centre or in the midst of every storm lies calmness and peace. In Mark 4:35-41, the Bible tells us that at one time when the disciples were in the boat with Jesus, there was a storm and Jesus was sleeping when they woke Him up, He spoke to the storm.

All He said was Peace Be Still. And suddenly everything became calm. So that people came to him and say “what manner of man is this, that the wind and the sea obeyed Him?”

Same way, the Prince of Peace is in the boat of our lives. He will speak peace to every financial, marital, physical, spiritual, emotional, professional, career storms of our lives, in Jesus Name. You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.
Shalom.

From Our Pastor's Desk - July 2017 Our Month of Great Peace

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Welcome to this Our New Month of Great Peace, in Jesus name.

Psalms 119:165—”Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them”

Peace means rest, safety, good health, quietness, prosperity.

Jesus Christ personifies peace and He promised it to all of us who are His.In this life, situations could disturb our peace, sometimes for a little while, or for a relatively long time, either at individual, family or corporate level.

Mark 5:35-41 told us about Jesus in the boat with the disciples when a storm arose. This means, even as Christians, storms of life could still arise.

But since we have Jesus in our boat, no matter the storm, we will never sink. Great is the peace that Jesus gives.

He is the Prince of Peace. Jesus only had to say a word to the storm – “PEACE”, and the storm stilled. He didn’t have to repeat Himself. Jesus says in John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.

Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” This month, the Prince of peace will speak peace to all our storms, physical, spiritual, financial etc.

He will divert every future storm away from us. There shall be no more storms, in Jesus Name. Amen.

...But by His Spirit

By: Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Zechariah 4:6 - “This is the word of the LORD unto Ze-rubba-bel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

Two cases.  One in Judges 19 & 20. The tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin and demanded the culprits of some dastardly act of gang-rape & murder to be handed over to them for appropriate judgment, so as to put away evil from Israel.

But rather, the children of Benjamin defiantly mobilized for war against the children of Israel.

Three times the children of Israel sought counsel from God about going to war against the tribe of Benjamin and three times God gave them a go-ahead.

However, they got different results. And another in 1st King 20:1-21. Ben-hadad, the king of Syria, gathered his entire host together against the extremely idolatrous king Ahab and his evil wife, Jezebel.

In spite of Ahab’s dastardly sins, not only did God send a message of hope to the idolatrous King Ahab, He actually delivered on His promise by giving King Ahab an unexpected resounding victory over that great enemy host.

We win, succeed, excel, breakthrough or prosper, surely, not by our own might or power, but by the working of God’s precious Spirit inside of us.

So next time you encounter a problem, face challenges or sense a battle around you, remember Zechariah 4:6. Halleluyah.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Mighty Men of Great Wealth

By: Bro Richard Somade.

God  reveals His  over-riding desire for man to prosper in 3 John 1:2 where He said “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thou soul prospereth”.

Isn’t it then curious why there are poor Christians?  Deuteronomy 8:18 says “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God; for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth”.

The word “get” is a verb; an action word - a doing word. Therefore, whereas the Lord commits to enabling us with power to prosper, enjoy good health and have all good things abound unto us, yet He wants us to take the action of getting it.

Prosperity is readily available in God but ONLY for the taking/getting. This is not a passive action of folding arms and waiting for prosperity to happen. The act of getting wealth does not, however, import hard-work alone.

Sheer wit and grit can never make anyone rich. Rather, God purposes that we take the conscious action of following His conjunctive prosperity principles of Obedience,

Work and Giving, to access His illimitable well of prosperity. Isaiah 48:17 says, I am the Lord thy God who teacheth thee to profit.

There are principles for becoming wealthy and the Lord is willing to teach us. It is my prayer that God illuminate our minds with His word and grant us the will to follow, that we may enjoy

His covenant of prosperity, in Jesus Name.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed. Shalom.

Getting Wealth - No More Limitation

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Let’s ask ourselves - is it God’s will to be rich & wealthy? Several places in the Bible has the answer.

Isaac in Genesis 26:12-14 – “and Isaac sowed in that land…And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him”

Solomon – 1st Kings 10:23 – “So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom”….to mention but a few.

God definitely wants us to prosper & be wealthy. But we limit ourselves with our mindset. One’s mindset is important. It is key to success or failure.

The WordWeb defines mindset as mental attitude, your mentality; your habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you will interpret and respond to situations. It is this mindset that determines what you see, how you see it.

It determines how you see life, the approach you give to it and above all, it sets a limit to what you can achieve. Limitation means boundary, things you don’t have access to; basically, as far as something can go.

We need to work on our mindset. We need to nullify our faulty paradigms and re-tune our mindset from negativity to positivity.

Reprogram our mind towards possibilities and undeniable desire of God that we should prosper & be in health.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed. Shalom.

Lest we Forget...

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Deut. 8:18 – “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day”

Ponder this…what if, God forbid, you woke up tomorrow & you were unable to move your hands and legs. You couldn’t go to that job, school or business?

What if, you eventually lost that job or the business collapsed due to your inability to attend to them?  Then, you’d remember God, your heavenly Father, to fast & pray to.

You’d now start praying for health, strength & power…to go to your job/business to make wealth. But while you had the power & health, did you remember to thank your God; obey, wor-ship and honor Him with your wealth & sub-stance?

Did you pay your tithe, in obedience to His command? Just 10% to His storehouse and you keep 90% for yourself.

Or you’d rather He took His power from you, so you can still pay your 0% tithe but now keep 0% for yourself?

God constantly had to re-mind His people not to overlook His goodness to them and the same applies to us.

The ultimate source of everything is God, even the power & strength to go out & get wealth. “…In Him we live, we move and have our being…” from Him come all other things. If you forget your source, you will also be forgotten.

A river that forgets its source will dry up. We will not be forgotten nor dry up, in Jesus Name.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed. Shalom.

Welcome to the Month of June - From Our Pastor's Desk

June 2017 Our Month of Power To Get Wealth

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Welcome to this Our New Month of Power To Get Wealth, in Jesus name. Deut. 8:18 – “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day”

Our God is an all-powerful God, omnipotent, the Almighty. God’s power is in His nature. All power and might have always been His and will continue to be His for all eternity. Psalms 62:11 says “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God”

And the Bible now tells us it is He that has given us the power to get wealth. He is our Source; of the power, strength, health, wisdom, grace, ability, skills, energy, aptitude and provisions to get wealth..

Without all these, it’s impossible to get wealth (whether through our jobs, businesses, ef-forts or exploits). But He gave them to us because of His covenant, so we may be abundant in wealth, riches and to prosper in body, soul & spirit.

This month, as we honor, release & worship our Creator, our Source, with our wealth & finances, He will imbue us more with needed power to be more wealthy, healthy, prosperous, flourishing & blessed, in Jesus Name.

Amen..

Today's Distractions Affect Tomorrow's Height

By Deaconess Kemi Epidi

Tomorrow’s heights are often missed because of today’s distractions. You start out strong and mighty. Your mind is made up that you are going to wait on God until your change comes.

But then you realize time is moving on and it seems like nothing still is happening. Or better yet, things are happening, you are happy, ecstatic, you have “arrived” but lose focus, become distracted by your accomplishments.

Don’t be fooled, a distraction does not always have to be a problem or a situation that seems to be getting worse. Some-times it can be a situation that seems all so right.

“I know he’s not saved but I believe he really loves me”,  “I know this job is going to keep me from church but I’ll now be able to pay all of my bills”  In Matthew 14, we find Peter became distracted with what was going on around him instead of continuously focusing on Jesus, so he began to sink.

In Luke 10, while Mary, not conforming to what society expected of her sat at Jesus’s feet focused on Him, Martha was distracted by her many task.

Have you shifted your focus away from the heights God has called you to because of your many tasks? Have you shifted your focus because God is telling you to wait for the appointed time those heights will be manifested?

We can’t afford to get distracted. God has so much in store for you. So don’t let distractions cause you to miss out on the heights God has just for you, in Jesus Name.

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed. Shalom.

From Lowest to Highest

By: Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Obadiah 1:17- “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions”

“Give me this mountain". This was the prayer of Caleb who could see deeper into spiritual things. I guess I now know why he so much wanted that mountain.

Campers, especially the Boys Scout, would always take themselves to the high hills and mountain tops to stay the night after much jungle work. On the mountain top, there is little or no fear of snakes, scorpions, other dangerous animals, even mosquitoes are rarely there.

Very cool a place to stay. So cool that they would not be bothered if their beds were rocks or not. Remember what they say, “the higher you go the cooler it becomes”

This is a geographical principle that states that when one moves to a higher height, temperature generally decreases. In essence, the mountain-top is a place free from fear, a place of rest and great dreams.

Obadiah 1:17 tells us that the mountain is a place of great deliverance and possession, but the valley is not a good place to stay. It is a place of fear and demotion, a place of unwanted burdens and stains, a place of the shadow of death.

Psalms 23:4 You are not to be seen there. Beloved, you need to claim your own mountain and leave the valley. The Lord will give you your mountain top life, peace, coolness, safety and rest, in Jesus Name.

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.

No Woman Left Behind

By Sis Oluchi Olageshin

Matthew 24:41: “Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left”

Are you ready for His coming?  No woman or man should be left behind when Christ comes on the last day? You might have heard that we are in the end times, the last days, and also Jesus is returning soon.

The end of things as we know it in the earth is drawing near. God has notified us both through His written Word and by His Spirit within us that Jesus is coming back for us.

The question is, “will you be ready when the Lord shall come”?  How have we treated our husbands, children, friends, less privileged and helpers?

If you’re expecting the King of kings, how should your life look? Would you have been comfortable if He came back during your activities this past weekend?

Colossians 3:2 says “Then you need to focus your attention and your affection on the things of God instead of the things of this world “

After all, this world is not our final destination. We’re just sojourning here, looking forward to the time of glory and at home with the Lord, in Jesus Name.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Lifted to Greater Heights

Genesis 12:1-3 – “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed”

Higher ground has to do with geography and location; be it spiritually or physically. What's around you or what surrounds you matter. Where you are located affects you.

Because of what was around Abraham, the Lord relocated him. The level of ground you are plays a major part in your success.

God will not bless you just anywhere you go. God will bless you however, if you are willing to go where He leads as to a higher ground in Him.

Listen, if you are satisfied with the level you are, maybe this month is not for you. But if you want more of God, more of His love, more of His spirit, more of His blessings, more of His abundance, and more of His supernatural power, then you need to strive to arise and come up higher in Him so that you can be affected by His presence.  In God’s presence, the best comes out of you and the worst part of you dies.

This Month, sicknesses must die, brokenness must amend, bitterness must turn sweet, death must leave, and poverty must cease, in Jesus Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2017.

 Remain blessed. Shalom.

Part 4 - Money, Sex & Power - The Good and Bad

By: Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Genesis 2:24-25 – “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed”

Issues around money and/or sex account for the majority of marital problems in the world today.

Unfortunately, this fact is also true in the church. A lot of the problems stem from difference in attitude towards money, difference in financial habits and orientation, lack of trust in the area of finances, lack of control over the appetite & urges for sex, and most importantly, lack of using God’s wisdom.

As true Christian believers, we must handle money and sex the way God says we should. Most of the problems we have are direct results of neglecting God’s ways and instructions.

The Bible has an answer to every issue in marriage and we must recognize that His com-mandments are for our own good. The gift of sex is one of the wonderful gifts God has given to humanity when properly utilized according to Biblical injunctions.

Sex, by God’s standard is only expected during the confines of marital relationship. Outside of this, sex becomes sin to God and thereby not a blessing.

God created sex as a powerful force to bring a husband and wife together and to keep them together.

The grace to work & build together, according to God’s word and commandments, will fall upon us all, as we pursue our marital destinies, in Jesus Name.

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.
Shalom
