Hold on to Your Faith

By. Sis. Ehis Precious Erhunmwuosere

One of the people in the Bible who exercised faith was Job. He was a very righteous and wealthy man who loved God unconditionally.

He had ten children, a wife and servants.  God gave satan the permission to tempt Job but not to touch him. Afterwards, Job lost his children, property and wealth. Everything that he had was gone (Job 1:13 – 19).

This was where Job’s battles began; poverty fell on him, lost properties, family and his health (Job 2:7).
What’s striking about Job was his response to all his predicaments – Job 1:21-22 – “And he said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly"
Most people’s response, in terrible situations are so “UNGODLY”. For example, we all can sing praises to God in a good day, but it takes a person of a tremendous faith and tremendous spiritual maturity to sing those same songs of praise on terrible days.

But if you can give God praise in that terrible situation, you have therefore, given God a precious gift and will make Him to give you double portion of what you had lost; just exactly the way He did to Job.

So, brethren, hold on to your faith, because without your faith you cannot please God.

Hebrews 11:6 May our latter be greater than our former, our end shall be greater than our beginning, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.
