God reveals His over-riding desire for man to prosper in 3 John 1:2 where He said “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thou soul prospereth”.
Isn’t it then curious why there are poor Christians? Deuteronomy 8:18 says “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God; for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth”.
The word “get” is a verb; an action word - a doing word. Therefore, whereas the Lord commits to enabling us with power to prosper, enjoy good health and have all good things abound unto us, yet He wants us to take the action of getting it.
Prosperity is readily available in God but ONLY for the taking/getting. This is not a passive action of folding arms and waiting for prosperity to happen. The act of getting wealth does not, however, import hard-work alone.
Sheer wit and grit can never make anyone rich. Rather, God purposes that we take the conscious action of following His conjunctive prosperity principles of Obedience,
Work and Giving, to access His illimitable well of prosperity. Isaiah 48:17 says, I am the Lord thy God who teacheth thee to profit.
There are principles for becoming wealthy and the Lord is willing to teach us. It is my prayer that God illuminate our minds with His word and grant us the will to follow, that we may enjoy
His covenant of prosperity, in Jesus Name.
You will have good success this 2017.
Remain blessed. Shalom.
Good read, action word GET, not just folding arms...wealth readily available for those who go to get it.
ReplyDeleteApt.Indeed faith without work is dead.It is not enough to believe the word, there must be a corresponding action.
ReplyDeleteHis grace to know how to tap into his infinite provisions that lead to irreversible prosperity will abound for us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
ReplyDeleteAwesome read! The synopsis above helps condition our minds- especially mine. It addresses the good old myth of "Just pray to God and that's it; Prosperity is sure!" It sure entails much more than that. By His Grace, we will "get" His divine wealth in Jesus name. Amen!
