What is Good for His Glory?

By Deaconess ‘Ronke Ademosu

I was going somewhere one day and I saw a sign along the road that read “A LIFE WITHOUT ANYTHING GOOD IS BAD”.

So true! I pondered on this message and as I started ruminating over it, I prayed to God that I will never live a life devoid of anything good.

Then came the question, “What is good life? I suddenly realized that “our ways are not God’s ways".

The question is also subjective, depending on who is answering it: A spirit filled child of God versus someone without Christ. We live in a world of total decadence, devoid of Godly love, full of conflicts between the spirit and the flesh.

Matt. 6:33 “but seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

A life that does not only possess earthly riches but also enriched by Christ Jesus - That is good life! Everyone has the free will to reason and act according to his/her level of understanding.

But we, as children of the Most High, have been given the power to balance ‘free will’ and ‘determinism’ being guided by the Spirit of God who lives in us.

Pro. 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight...”  This is the will of God concerning those who desire His Glory.

It's our month of “His Glory Here on Earth”, everything that Glory means or represents: honor, greatness, beauty, splendor, power, fame, resto-ration, manifestation of God’s presence here on earth, are available in abundance and Yes, we need them, we love and desire these blessings.

But, how can they be counted as good unto us without compromising God’s standard. 2 Tim. 2:19 “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

May the Lord help us to uphold His standard and not fall short of His glory, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Remain Little in Your Own Eyes

From Our Pastor's Desk

1st Samuel 15:17 – “And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?

RMS Titanic was a British passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in the early hours of 15 April 1912, after colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City.

There were an estimated 2,224 passengers and crew aboard, and more than 1,500 died, making it the deadliest ocean liner disaster in history.

I watched the true story movie, where the Chief Engineer & Builder declared boastfully & with all air of arrogance, when asked during boarding “how safe the liner was”…he answered and said “even God cannot sink this ship with all His power”.

Well, that was true. God didn’t, only ice did. Now, they’ve started building Titanic 2, an exact replica of the 1912 one. It will make the same voyage as the old one.

The Australian Billionaire (project owner), chief design consultant, engineers etc made the announcement in April 2012.

They said “we commit this project to God. He will help us & have His way” Don’t wait till a disaster, don’t wait for God to humble you (Nebuchadnezzar), before you humble yourself.

There is your own place in destiny. You have your own place of glory. Stay in your lane, your station of glory. Don’t touch God’s glory, don’t covet it, no, don’t try it.

He doesn’t share it with anybody – no matter who. Stay humble; stay little in your own eyes. Let God exalt you, let others edify you, let people extol you. May the Lord exalt you and give you grace as you humble yourself, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

From Story to Glory

 From Our Pastor's Desk

2nd Samuel 9:10-13 – “Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table.

Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants...As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons…And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.

So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet”.

This is a very wonderful and interesting story from the Bible and it shows that it is not over until it is over.

The name, Mephibosheth, means "he who scatters shame” He was also called Meribbaal in 1st Chron. 8:34, which means contender with Baal. But, he was, instead, a carrier and bearer of shame, a victim and casualty of Baal.

What a life contrary to his name he lived, until Mercy and Grace knocked on his door. God can use anybody, when the set time has come.

Imagine the life of that crippled boy at Lodebar, without any hope. But God used king David to change all that. He gave him lands, and servants to work the land, and a place of honor at the king's table.

It does not matter how long you have spent in captivity, the important thing is that Jesus will intervene in your situation.

Your story will turn to glory.  Divine help and intervention is already on the way for you, now. The story of your life will be rewritten for good, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

December 2022 - Month of His Glory on Earth

From Our Pastor's Desk

Welcome to this our new Month of His Glory on Earth in Jesus name.

Matthew 6:13 – “…For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen”

Quite often the Heavens decide to visit earth. It is God’s desire that His Heavenly Kingdom takes over the worldly kingdom here on earth.

God’s purpose is to bring His kingdom to earth, not people going to heaven is the priority, though eventual.

His purpose is for the Heavens (kingdom, power & glory) to come down, so that the culture of heaven, language, dress code, habits, nature of heaven’s community, hosts of heaven, be reflected on earth.

When God’s presence comes, His glory appears. And very bright round-about, on every side, is His glory.  Isaiah 60:1 says "  A rise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee"

We have no glory of our own, except that which comes from the Lord.  Mercy Seatizens, welcome to December 2022, “Our Month of His Glory on Earth”.

Oh Lord, this month and beyond, let your glory be seen in every area of our lives. Let our glory shine brighter each passing day.

Exodus 40:34 - Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

Father, let the cloud of your shekinah glory fill every Mercy Seatizen, young & old, male & female, in Jesus Name.

Amen.

Power to Do What?

By Deacon Joseph Nnaji

The Bible says in the book of Hosea 4:6 that; “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou have rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee.”

Knowledge is so important to God that He warned the children of Israel in Joshua 1:8 saying, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate there-in day and night, that thou may observe to do according to all that is written in it: for then shalt thou make thy way prosperous, and then thou shall have good success.”

And in 2 Timothy 2:15, John 8:32, Daniel 11:32, Luke 10:19, Matthew 16:19, we understand we have been given power and authority.

With all this tremendous power that the Lord Jesus Christ has made available to His followers, why is it that so many of us are just barely surviving? Why is it that the enemies are having a field day?

Why is it that when the sea rages or the storm of life arises, we go into meltdown, instead of standing up to calm the raging storm we go into hiding?

The first step is the knowing, and then the using of that which is available unto us. Imagine prince Charles not knowing that he is from the royal family and next in line to the throne, he may never have become the king of England.

So many God’s children just go through life not knowing whom they are in Christ, and because of that ignorance they never made impact in any meaningful way.

As sons and daughters of the Most High, we must know that our Father is the King of kings, and the Lord of lords. He is the Almighty (all power belongs to Him).

Revelations 1:6, “He has made us Kings and Priests unto God and His Father” So if kings, where is the words of a king that carries power? Ecclesiastes 8:4.

I pray for the grace to search out the knowledge of who we are in the Lord and begin to operate in that realm, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.  Shalom.

Power of "The Blessing"

From Our Pastor's Desk

Proverbs 10:22 – “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it” One vital thing people pray and seek for in life is blessings.

Every man, woman, boy and girl wants it. There is yet no man in life that does not have the desire to be blessed.

Despite the desire and drive for blessings, not many people really enjoy it.

What is The Blessing – It is the empowerment of God to do well. Comes through His word, impartation etc. Whoever receives the Blessing cannot be cursed.

You do well, you become fruitful etc The Blessing is different from blessings, which are signs of the blessing at work. Without the blessing one struggles, it makes a difference.

The secret to enjoying ceaseless flow of blessings in life is to have ‘the blessing’ Please understand that not all possessions are blessings.

It is only those achievements, possessions that add no tears or pains that are true blessing.

Some scheme their ways to the top, which is not a blessing. There are people that make covenants with the devil, demons, witches and other dark spiritual power to have a breakthrough; that is not a blessing.

The only true blessing is that which God Himself gives a man and it comes through ‘the blessing’. There are a lot of people that are rich but are not blessed. When you have the blessing you won’t have to struggle for blessings.

The blessing is the principal thing, therefore get it.  The Lord bless you with “the blessing”, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

I've Got The Power

From Our Pastor's Desk

Ephesians 1:20 – 2:6 – “Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church”

Jesus rose from the dead…. And He now occupies His throne. He occupies the right hand of God, the Father, and that is where we are with Him.

Ephesians 2:6 “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”

Brethren, the right-hand position is the right hand of power. Right hand of might, authority and potency. The right hand location of God the Father, is where Jesus is seated currently, and where we are spiritually.

Although the Bible commonly speaks of God as having various human body parts, such as eyes, ears, nostrils, a right hand, and so on, it should be clear that the infinite core being of God, called “the Father” in the Bible, does not have a physical body or physical form as human beings do, such that someone could literally sit at God’s right hand. But Biblically, the right hand is commonly associated with power.

At the right hand of God is Jesus Christ and us, where we are divinely located. There is power in the right hand.  May we not lose our positional power and advantage, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.  Shalom.

Not By Your Power

From Our Pastor's Desk

Zechariah 4:6 - “This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

Two cases.  One in Judges 19 & 20. The tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin and demanded the culprits of some dastardly act of gang-rape & murder to be handed over to them for appropriate judgment, so as to put away evil from Israel.

But rather, the children of Benjamin defiantly mobilized for war against the children of Israel.

Three times the children of Israel sought counsel from God about going to war against the tribe of Benjamin and three times God gave them a go-ahead.

However, they got different results. And another in 1st King 20:1-21. Ben-hadad, the king of Syria, gathered his entire host together against the extremely idolatrous king Ahab and his evil wife, Jezebel.

In spite of Ahab’s dastardly sins, not only did God send a message of hope to the idolatrous King Ahab, He actually delivered on His promise by giving King Ahab an unexpected resounding victory over that great enemy host.

We win, succeed, excel, breakthrough or prosper, surely, not by our own might or power, but by the working of God’s precious Spirit inside of us.

So next time you encounter a problem, face challenges or sense a battle around you, remember Zechariah 4:6.

Grace to know and appropriate due glory to God for His faithfulness in our lives (and realizing that it’s not by our power nor might), the Lord will give unto us, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.  Shalom.

November 2022 - Month of His Power on Earth

From Our Pastor's Desk

Welcome to this our new Month of His Power on Earth in Jesus name.

Matthew 6:13-“For thine is the kingdom, and the power”

Rev. 7:12 – “Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen”

He alone has ALL the power and He’s the ALL-Mighty.  Psalms 62:11 says “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God”

All power and might will continue to be His for all eternity. He spoke the universe, more than 100 billion galaxies, into being.

Nothing on earth, in heaven or underneath the earth is too difficult for Him. Jeremiah 32:17 – “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:”

Mercy Seatizens, I welcome you to this Month of November, “Our Month His Power on Earth”. The month that God will manifest His awesome power in our lives, because He loves us. No matter what we might be facing, God can & will help us. Nothing is too hard for Him.

No need is too great for Him to meet. No problem is too complicated for Him to solve. No foe is too strong for Him to conquer. No prayer is too difficult for Him to answer. And He has given us His power.

Go forth in His power & might, in Jesus Name.

A Very Present Help in Trouble

By Pastor Kunbi Sonaike-Ayodeji

WHO IS THE VERY PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE?  He is God Almighty. Our Redeemer and Deliverer. The One that is seated in heaven and the earth is His footstool. He is our very present help in trouble.

As we are rounding up our month of deliverance on earth, we need to remind our-selves that our calling as Christians, does not totally exempt us from the struggles and challenges affecting mankind in the world.

According to John 16:33, Jesus said “these things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world”.

God knew that we might not be totally free of ups and down in our world, that’s why He said in Psalms 91:15 “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him, and honor him”.

Isaiah 43:2 also confirmed inevitable trials known to mankind and said “when thou passes through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee, when thou walkest through the fire, thou shall not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee”.

Waters and fires represent challenges, unpleasant situations, struggles and oppression but we have the assurance that we shall be delivered from them all. Our Father in heaven is a faithful and covenant keeping God.

He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Every word of Psalms 46 is the assurance of God being there to deliver His children from any form of problem. He is never too late as He knows the beginning from the end and the end from the beginning.

This is the confidence we have as we faithfully serve Him and believe His word. Father, thank You for being our very present Help in time of troubles, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022. Remain blessed.  Shalom.

Come to “The Settler”

From Our Pastor’s Desk

1 Chronicles 17:14 - “But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore”

In this month of Divine Settlement, God has promised to settle you, establish and perfect all testimonies, and blessings-in-progress that He has started in all Vessels of Mercy’s lives.

You may be going through a very difficult time or trial right now and see no way out, but you can rest assured that God is about to settle you and bless you as a result of going through the trial.

Philippians 1:6 says – “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ”.

The truth that God has revealed here is that God began and is continuing a mighty work in our lives. That work is absolutely guaranteed to turn out successfully, because it is God’s work, not man’s.

If, truly, you have been born again by the Spirit of God, then you do not need to be afraid of the circumstances or situations around you, do not fret, because the God who called you will be faithful to complete the work he began in you. Halleluyah.

Take heart that Jesus is completing the purpose of you trial and He will come on the scene to promote you. Peter said in 1st Peter 1:7 that “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ”

In other words, the trial of your faith will end with praise and honor at the appearing of Jesus coming on the scene with His promotion in hand for you. The trial is not to punish you but the trial is just an instrument to get you to a new level of responsibility, so He can use you in a greater fashion.

1 Peter 5:10 - “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you”.

Father, thank you for You will perfect, stablish, strengthen and settle us, as we come to You, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Going About Doing Good - Evangelism Week 2022

From Our Pastor's Desk

Acts 10:38 - “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” Brethren, we are not here by accident!

God, in His infinite wisdom and grace, has chosen us to be at this particular place and at this particular time in history before the foundation of the world so that we could help carry out His plan. His plan?

That is clearly stated in Mark 16:15 – “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”

Verse 20 then concluded the chapter with “And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen”

God specifically anointed Jesus Christ during His earthly walk to go about doing good, setting the captives free. We have the same specific instructions "preach the Good News to everybody everywhere."

God is counting on us. Don't make the mistake of waiting around until everything gets perfectly straightened out in your life, all ducks lined up perfectly in a row, or when all the stars are aligned, before you begin to reach out to people in need.

Too often we say, God, as soon as you get me out of all my problems, then I'm going to witness to my family and friends. That is fantasy. Let’s stop making excuses.

There is no problem, issue or challenge-free life. satan loves for God's people to procrastinate.  Friends, many are dying in their sins, in spiritual destruction. The time to speak & witness of God’s love and work of salvation is NOW!

We receive the zeal, grace and boldness to “go about doing good and witnessing the Good News”, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Even the Lawful Captive

From Our Pastor's Desk

Isaiah 49:24-26 – “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? But thus saith the LORD, even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD  am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Who is a Lawful Captive? A person becomes a lawful captive when the choices or decisions they made have taken them into situations and consequences that have made them bound.

For instance, Romans 6:23 states that “For the wages of sin is death…” So, if & when a person sins, they become a lawful captive of spiritual death, because according to the law in Romans 6:23, the sentence is justified and deserved, that man is a LAWFUL captive.

And sometimes, the lawful captives are oblivious of the dangers they are in and cannot even be seeking their freedom. So, whenever we talk about deliverance we need to know that there is warfare in-volved. It means there is somebody who has been captured (captive).

There is somebody who captured them (captor) and there is somebody who is coming to deliver the one who has been captured (deliverer). So there’s bound to be warfare, because the captor would never allow the captive to go free, especially the lawful captive.

Thank you Jesus, God is able, willing and ready to deliver us.  Psalms 34:17-19  The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. Deliverer, please be our refuge and strength at all times and deliver us whenever we are in danger, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

October 2022 - Month of His Deliverance on Earth

From Our Pastor's Desk

Welcome to this our new Month of His Deliverance on Earth in Jesus name.

Matthew 6:13 - And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil... In Luke 8:26-28, we read about the madman of Gadarene in his state of "long time complete insanity" and he recognized Jesus because his eyes of understanding were opened.

The good news here is that as the man, even a mad man, met with Jesus his situation turned around.

Ours, no matter how long we have been living with it, gravity of the problem notwithstanding, we will receive our total deliverance in Jesus Name.

Whenever we talk about deliverance we need to know that there is warfare involved. It means there is some-body who has been captured.

There is somebody who captured him and there is somebody who is coming to deliver the one who has been captured. So there’s bound to be warfare. The captor is satan (John 10:10); the captive is the one that is possessed or troubled.

And the deliverer is JESUS (Philippians 2:9-11). Halleluyah! Mercy Seatizens, welcome to October 2022, “Our Month of His Deliverance on Earth”

This month, every situation must bow to Jesus whether the devil likes it or not. Jesus Christ is alive & here today to set the captives free  in Jesus Name.

Amen.

Jehovah Mephalti

From Our Pastor's Desk

Jehovah Mephalti is the Lord my Deliverer.   Psalms 18:2 (2nd Samuel 22:2) “The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer (Mephalti); My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold”

Mephalti is one who delivers; releases or rescues; a preserver.   David was constantly being pursued by his enemies. BUT the LORD delivered him each and every time.

He delivered David from Goliath, Saul, Enemy Kings, Armies and Rebellions.  David expresses his gratitude to Jehovah Mephalti in another Psalms 34:17-19

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all”.

Thank you, Father, for being our fortress, our deliverer, our God, our strength, our buckler, the horn of our salvation and our high tower. Thank you, our Jehovah Mephalti, our Deliverer, for successfully, seeing us through the first part of this year and for the grace to witness the remainder of the year.

Deliverer, please be our refuge and strength at all times and deliver us whenever we are in danger, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Blessings in Temptation

 By Bro. Kolapo Jegede

Temptation is an important subject in the Christian faith, the word temptation means an intentional enticement of a person by setting a bait or the act of tempting or state of being tempted.

The plan of the devil for every child of God is that we do not finish strong; so, he set several baits and hindrances for us to fall and stumble along the way.

The ultimate plan of God is for us to go through the fire of life and scale all hurdles and traps the enemy has set for us and come out stronger bigger and better Isaiah 43:2; Dan 3:16 – 28.

What does it mean to be blessed during temptation? The word blessings mean God’s protection and favor in one’s life. Looking at the life of Joseph, he was the beloved of his father.

He had a promising future and found himself in the pit to be faced with several temptations in his master’s house, he was charged with an offence he didn’t commit and went to prison Gen 39:6-23.

Throughout the whole situation, God was with him even in the prison preparing him. God’s blessings, protection and favor were upon him until his time of manifestation was set. What the enemy meant for evil God will turn it for Good for you because of His blessings upon your life.

In summary, in our Christian journey; God has not promised us smooth sailing but a safe landing Jeremiah 29:11. We are going to be faced with different temptations in our  destiny James 1:2-3 we must stay focused and run with patience to obtain the prize.

Lord, we pray this day, deliver us from every temptation of sinful vices that’d make us lose the habitation of Christ in us, the Hope of glory, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Christ in You, The Hope of Glory

By Pastor ‘Tayo Adewale

And this is the secret: Jesus Christ lives in us, CHRIST is in us, His presence is in our lives. Our body is His temple. We are the habitation of Christ. The Hope of glory - hope means confidence.

The presence of Christ in an individual’s life constitutes their hope of glory and for glory.

Christ in us the hope of glory (not hoping for glory), is so powerful and it comes with a lot of benefits.

Christ abides in us and we need to always acknowledge His presence in us at all times.

The hope of our glory is our - Salvation (Psalm 119:166), divine healing, deliverance, strength, prosperity and preservation. Christ in us silences satan.

Job  1:20-22 It's the process of growth of becoming more like Jesus every day. Christ in us transforms us daily as we put our trust in Him. Christ in us causes our bodies to be healed, because He is the light of the world. Christ in us won't allow sin to have dominion over us.

Romans  6:14 To live without Christ is to die with no hope.  Invite Jesus Christ into your life now. Don't live without hope or with no hope, but chose the hope of glory.

The Lord Jesus is the hope of glory. Live a sin-free life. Victory over temptation!  Lord, we pray this day, deliver us from every temptation of sinful vices that’d make us lose the habitation of Christ in us, the Hope of glory, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

The Subtle Temptations After Success

From Our Pastor's Desk

Deuteronomy 6:10-12 - “When the LORD your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you… then when you eat and are satisfied, be careful that you do not forget the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.”

The above was Moses’ admonition to the Israelites. It was a very stern warning to them.

“As you have left the land of bondage and servitude, the Lord your God is going to so much bless you with every good thing, great and mighty cities you will conquer, you will eat and drink to satisfaction.

A great change is going to happen in your lives. You are going to enjoy the blessing of God in ways that your parents never knew, but…”

Be careful! Watch out! There is a particular danger that you are going to encounter as God’s blessings flow into your life.

Success carries with it the temptation of pride, greed, lust, and forgetting the Lord. Moses said “…be careful that you do not forget the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.”

Disobedience accomplished after a great success can cause God to be sorry a person was even blessed. Saul’s victory and subsequent spiritual fall should serve as a warning to us that success and wealth and blessings can easily come between us and our God.

Lord, we pray this day, that even in the midst of success and victory, deliver us from every temptation of pride and vices that’d make us forget our God, our source, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed. Shalom.

Victory Over Temptation

From Our Pastor's Desk

Temptation is something that tests a person's righteousness and strength of character. It is a solicitation or enticement to do that which is evil, that which is in obedience to God’s instructions.

Temptation is the desire to do something, especially when it is wrong or unwise. Temptation can be described as a strong desire to have or do something even though you know you should not.

It is a nudging to do evil or anything contrary to God’s will or standard. It is a strong persuasion to do something wrong. Devil is known as the “tempter”, the source of all temptations, according to Matthew 4:3; 1st Thessalonians 3:5.

Our God is not a tempter, God does not tempt. God tries and tests. Trial is different from temptation. James 1:3. Trial is meant to build us up while temptation pulls us down.

For every child of God; temptation is a familiar experience. No one can escape it.

Adam was tempted, our Lord Jesus Christ was also tempted. To be tempted is not a sin, but yielding to temptation is what is sinful.

When we overcome temptation, our Christian faith and resolve are strengthened, and our testimonies stand sure.

We grow stronger to resist other temptations and our obedience to God is confirmed.  Grace to continue to be victorious over every “carrot” of temptation dangled before us, we receive in abundance, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.  Remain blessed.   Shalom.

September 2022 - Month of Victory over Temptations on Earth

From Our Pastor's Desk

Welcome to this our new Month of Victory over Temptations on Earth in Jesus name.

Before we were born-again, evil desires were the only temptations we understood. Disobedience, fleshly lusts, arrogance and self-gratification was all we knew.

But by regeneration, after receiving Christ into our lives, we are lifted into another realm where we face the kind of temptations our Lord faced Matthew 4:1-11 - temptations from satan not to do wrong things, but he also tempts us in order to make us lose.

At this point satan does not come along the line of tempting us to sin, but on the line of shifting our focus, and only the Spirit of God can reveal this as a temptation of the devil. Satan is the prince of this world, is called "the tempter" in Matthew 4:3.

God does not tempt. That’s why Jesus taught us to pray thus - Matthew 6:13 – “And lead us not into temptation… ” that we may not yield to temptation. Temptation is something that tests a person's righteous-ness and strength of character.

It is a solicitation or enticement to do that which is evil, that which is in obedience to God’s instructions.  Mercy Seatizens, welcome to September 2022, “Our Month of Victory over Temptations on Earth”.

Satan can tempt all he likes, all day and year, but we, we will not fall. We will stand our ground, on the ROCK that is Jesus the Christ.

That grace we receive, in Jesus Name.

Amen.

When Thou Art Converted

From Our Pastor's Desk

Luke 22:31-34 – “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me”.

If anyone should have been disqualified from ministry, it was Peter. Paul did some pretty awful things to the name of Christ as well, but Peter?

He walked with Christ and ate with Christ and followed Christ and left his family for Christ. He told his Lord that he'd be with him till the end.

And we all know what happened afterwards. And he was pretty good right up until the end shortly after seizing the ear from a guard showing his undying loyalty to the King of Kings.

That is, until he was asked if he knew this Jesus character. And to that he replied, "I do not know or understand what you are talking about." Not once. Not twice. But three times. Jesus looked back at him as He was led away; the third crow of the rooster was heard and Peter saw Jesus, remembered his chest-beating vow, broke down and wept.

But Jesus already knew Peter would be weak at that point, and Jesus prayed for him, encouraged and forgave him. And in the final saying, Jesus says, “when thou art converted”, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers”

Be encouraged, Brethren, be strengthened, regardless of how many times the adversary tries to sift you as wheat, remember Jesus has forgiven you, and prayed for you. Go forth and strengthen others, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Forgive One Another

By Sis. Lisa Eziokwu

The theme of our Sold-Out Teens week is “Vessels of Mercy”, we are recipients of God’s mercy and have become people of God - 1 Peter 2:10 “who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy”

Having obtained God’s mercy, let us also be merciful and extend mercy to others.

Some synonyms of mercy are; clemency, leniency, forgiveness, etc. the focus for today is “Forgiveness”.

Psychologists define forgiveness as “a conscious and deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you, regardless of whether they actually deserve your forgiveness.

As Christians, we are expected to forgive one an-other because Christ paid the ultimate price for our forgiveness. Jesus when He was on earth taught us the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6: 9-13, verse 12 says and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors”.

He added in verse 14: “for if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. In order to really forgive someone, we must wipe their slate completely clean in the same way God completely forgives us when we pray for his forgiveness.

A good reason to forgive others is so God will forgive you- Matthew 6:15. Two(2) keys that will make it easier for us to forgive one another are LOVE and PATIENCE.

In 1 Peter 4:8, the bible says “above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins.” When we love someone, we forgive them easily. It is because of God’s love for us that He sent Jesus to die for us (John 3:16).

Patience also is very important, let us be patient with one another as we strive for perfection in Christ. Colossians 3:13 admonishes us to “bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone.

Forgive as the Lord forgave you”. We pray that we all will be Vessels of God’s Mercy, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Lest Any Root of Bitterness

From Our Pastor's Desk

Hebrews 12:14-15 – “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled”

Have you ever been wronged by someone, and then found yourself seething with anger and bitterness? One of the hardest things to do in life is to let go of bitter feelings towards others, ourselves, and God.

Maybe a friend has betrayed your trust and left you feeling wounded. Maybe someone misunderstood your words and assumed the worst, slandering your reputation.

Bitterness is defined as an attitude of ex-tended and intense anger and hostility. It is often joined by resentment and a desire to “get even."

It is the result of not forgiving someone and letting hurt and anger grow until the pain and resentment hurt the per-son’s view of life. It is like a slow poison, one negative thought leads to another, and soon we’re tossing and turning at night, replaying hurtful interactions and making a new plan to get even.

We are commanded to not seek revenge, but to let go and let God. Romans 12:17-21 – “Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good”

From today, we renounce all ungodly anger and bitterness, and we give no place to the devil anymore, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.  Shalom.

August 2022 - Month of His Forgiveness on Earth

From Our Pastor's Desk

Welcome to this our new Month of His Forgiveness on Earth in Jesus name.  Matthew 6:12, 14-15 – “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors…

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses”

God so much loves to forgive that He instructs His children to always forgive too.

Jesus told Peter how many times to forgive his brother in Matthew 18:21 – “Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven”

Forgiveness means absolution, granting pardon, mercy, and exoneration.

The release of the resentment caused by an offense.  Brethren, have you been hurt? Abused, molested, shamed, embarrassed, scorned, made fun of, rejected, abused or persecuted?

We know it’s hard to forgive some wrongs sometimes. But only God and the Godly can forgive. God wants us to forgive, as He has forgiven us.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. So, Mercy Seatizens, welcome to August, Our Month of His Forgiveness on Earth.

We will offend people, and people WILL offend us, but we must learn to for-give them, forgive ourselves, and accept God’s forgiveness.

This month & beyond, God will arise & daily renew His mercies upon us , in Jesus Name. Amen.

Daily Loads of Benefits – The BCR Process

By Sis. Tiwa’ Williams

Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our Salvation - Psalms 68:19.

There are no half measures with God, everything about Him is in full, and everything He does likewise is in full.

Psalms 68:19 emphasizes that God loads us with benefits daily. The word ‘load’ here represents heaping in excess.

Every day God supplies us with His blessings in excess, more than we can handle. He just doesn’t fill our cups; He causes our cups to overflow because that is His way of doing things. How then do we receive from our Father?

Let us explore the BCR Process. The BCR process is the process that got us saved in the first place and guarantees our access to ALL the provisions God has for us.

There is no other formula for how to get a miracle except by the one already laid during salvation- believe, confess, receive. Knowing and quoting the scriptures is necessary for our daily confessions however, we must first believe.

Eph 2:8- by grace I am saved through faith. Faith is belief. We must follow the same process in our everyday lives.

Mark 11:22-24. Our Confessions must be sound. Words are meant to create the future. Words are meant to shape our lives and this world was framed by the word of God.

The bible cautions us to guard our tongues because out of it flows the issues of life. Proverbs 13:3- “whosoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin”.

The third part of the process is to receive. While the first 2 parts of this process is strictly up to us- the requestors, this part also subjective to the Giver.

We receive when He gives, and He gives liberally as He wills. It is His will that we all receive all that is available to us through Christ Jesus.

Psalms 103:1-5 outlines sever al benefits available to us as believ-ers. As we truly believe and rightly confess, I pray that we will all receive daily loads of His benefits, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

When Your Faith is Under Fire

From Our Pastor's Desk

1st Peter 1:7 - That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Our faith is developed over the years by the various trials and tests that God allows into our lives.

Many Christians have wrongly chosen to associate faith with their "feelings." This kind of emotional faith can survive only as long as life is understandable and within their control, but what happens when the rug of human understanding is pulled out from under them and events in their lives turn chaotic or uncontrollable?

These Christians then sink because their faith is built on emotionalism, not on the solid rock of faith in Christ.

True faith is being able to keep afloat in the dark sea of circumstances Mark 5:22-23 – “And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, And be-sought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live”

Jairus was a man who went to our Lord Jesus Christ to seek help for his dying daughter. His faith got tested. Sometimes God tests our faith with a delay or problem. When this happens, what does this delay or problem reveal about us?

Everyone's faith must be tested, there is no exception.  Delays could be as a result of trial of faith. God may want to try your faith. We receive grace to stand upon His promises at all trying times, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

InsideOut Children’s Week 2022 - I am Rich in Christ Jesus

By Sarah “ChiChi” Nnaji

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 8:9 saying, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.”

The truth remains that the Lord wants every one of His children to become rich through His sacrifices that He had already made, but as we all know that the Lord does not force anything on His children, He gives them the freedom to choose.

As Isaiah 1:19 has it, “If you be willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.”

So, there must first be a willingness to become rich on the bases of what the Lord has done, that Christ gave up His riches for your sake and my sake, that we might take His place in riches.

The keyword high-lighted here is ‘might’ which means that it is optional and not a must, riches are not only monetary as some people may only see money as the yardstick to measure those who are rich. The spies that Moses sent to spy the land of Canaan knew the promises of God regarding the land that God promised their fathers from Abraham down to Jacob and was going to fulfil it in their own generation, and they knew the process has started.

But ten out of these 12 spies instead did not align themselves with what God was doing, and when such happens, the ship sails or the train departs leaving such ones behind.  In Luke 12:32 Jesus says, “Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

So then, if God is not interested in the prosperity of His children, Jesus would not have given up His riches in the first place.

And God is not only interested in supplying all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, He wants us to also be a conduit with which other peoples need are supplied.

May God not only supply our needs, but may other peoples need be supplied through us, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Everyone that Asks, Receives

By Deaconess ‘Ronke Ademosu

Our God is “The Giver of good and perfect gifts”. He is the greatest Supplier and Provider that has all our needs in His storehouse and gives to each person accordingly.

God’s original intention was not to subject man to a life of lack and incessant needs, but the first sin deprived us of God’s plan: Gen. 2:15 “And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it”

But ever since the fall of man and by His mercy, we have to henceforth rely on God and ask Him for all of our needs.

“A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven” (John 3:27) Our bible passage describes the position of Jesus concerning asking for our needs from God. It is a command to as many that believe in Him to ask for whatever their needs may be, believing that they will receive their requests in His name.

He says “ask”, “seek” and “Knock”, these are the conditions by which we can receive maximum supports from God. Perhaps you are thinking “doesn’t God know our needs already? Yes, He does, but he wants to hear it from you and would love you exercise your faith and trust in Him.

Often times He waits for us to reach out in surrender so that He would take over our burdens, but, do we reach out? He is calling us today and giving us the mandate to allow Him be in the center of our affairs.

He said in John 16:24 “Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your you may be full”. That is our right as heirs of God. Are you ready to exercise that right? May the LORD grant us wisdom and understanding, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

But My God Shall Supply

 From Our Pastor's Desk

Philippians 4:19 says: “But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

All through the Bible, God has promised to meet our needs – emotional needs, financial needs, physical needs, spiritual needs, relational needs, every need of our lives.

In fact, one of my favorite names of God, amongst many, is Jehovah Jireh, which means, “The Lord God, our Provider”  God is the source of all our needs.

He is not a man that will lie, neither a son of man that will repent of His word, promises and covenants. He is the Father of Lights, the Giver of good and perfect gifts, without any variableness neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).

He is the Almighty and we must learn to put our trust in Him always. We must believe that God wants to and will take care of all our needs. Daily. “Give us this day our daily bread” – Matthew 6:13 says.

Does that mean we get a truckload of $$$ every morning? No. Of course, He also provides money for the things we need and to be a blessing for us and for other people; but we don’t set our hopes on money.

We set our hopes – our faith – on God. And His provision for us goes down to every little detail of our lives; much more than what money could ever promise or buy.

So, whatever seemingly insurmountable mountain of needs we are trying or praying to become plain, we should take heart and know that our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah Jireh, wants to & will supply all our needs, as we trust and believe His promises of provision, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.  Shalom.

July 2022 - Month of His Provisions on Earth

 From Our Pastor's Desk

Welcome to this our new Month of His Provisions on Earth in Jesus name.

Matthew 6:11 – “Give us this day our daily bread” Bread refers to sustenance, provisions, livelihood; any and every means whereby one lives. It could be financial, spiritual, physical etc

Our God is our Provider, the Jehovah Jireh, who daily provides us our bread.

Isaiah 55:10 - “…For as the rain… watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater”

So, Jesus was essentially teaching the disciples, and us today, that we need to beseech God our Father and depend on Him, in all areas of our life (physical, spiritual and mental), and this we must do daily.

We need to come back to God regularly, each day- indeed, many times each day and many ways, lest we quickly become independent and self-seeking. Jesus also restated this our daily dependency on Him, when He admonishes us to not "worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself" - Matthew 6:34.

Mercy Seatizens, welcome to July 2022, Our Month of His Provisions on Earth. This month & beyond, we will receive bread to eat daily, seed to sow every time, clothes to wear regularly, money to spend always.

We will not lack any good thing, in Jesus Name.

Amen.

The Name that Delivers

By Min. Rebecca Orimoloye

Throughout the month of June, we have been exposed to different names of God. Today, we will focus on God’s name being the Deliverer.

From our first bible text, we have the story of Jabez whom the bible describes as being more honorable than his brothers.

To be an honorable person, you are someone that is seen as deserving of respect or high regard.

The word honorable comes from the same Latin root as honor, which is honorem or honos.

This means dignity, mark of esteem, respect or reputation. It is therefore safe to say that Jabeez was a “big deal” in the society. The level of honor that was bestowed on him was more than that of his brothers. However, something was not right. All was not quite well with this gentleman.

Despite the fact that he was well known and honored amongst his peers, his mother called him a name that reminded her of the circumstances of his birth. When Jabez realized there was an issue, notice that Jabez didn’t go to his mother to get a fix.

He was a victim of an issue he knew nothing about. He instead went and called upon the name of the Lord that delivers. As believers, when we begin to notice certain negative patterns in our lives, we need to call on the God of deliverance.

No, it is not ideal to sit and wallow in pain, suffering alone and appearing as the person we are not behind closed doors.

John 10:10 tells us that “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” We need to know, understand and believe that our God is a good God.

He is simply too loving to let us suffer needlessly. His thoughts for us, according to Jer emiah29:11 are thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give us an expected end.

As we call on the name that delivers, He will answer us and indeed show us great and mighty things, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen. You will have good success this 2022. Remain blessed.  Shalom.

The All - Mighty God

By Bro. Godwin Ifeanyi

Isaiah 9:6 says – “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”

God has many names that He is known with but according to our text we will center our discussion today on one THE ALIMGHTY.

All over the world, there are mighty Women, Men of Timber and Caliber but there is only One Person called THE ALMIGHTY GOD.

Psalm 91:1 - “He that dwelleth in the Secret Place of the Most High shall abide under the Shadow of THE ALMIGHTY.”

The Psalmist in the above mentioned verse  mentions two titles for God;  The Most High and The Almighty.  We want to understand the essence  of what ‘Almighty God’ means to  us.

Human Beings, no matter how  great they are, are Limited! But  “THE ALMIGHTY” is Completely  Unlimited.

What does  the name Almighty God mean to you?  Let us surrender to him, he’s able to control everything in my life, in our marriage, in our family, in our Career and in our business.

He will come through for you, indeed, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.  Shalom.

He is Just Wonder-full

From Our Pastor's Desk

Jesus is just Wonder-full. Isaiah 9:6—”...and His name shall be called Won-derful…” Full of wonders.

Now what are wonders? Simply put, a wonder is something that causes you to wonder.

In other words, something you see that you open your mouth, in amazement, and you can’t close it.

In Mark 2:1-12 when they brought a man through the roof and laid him at the feet of Jesus, a man who had been paralyzed from the neck down, Jesus just said "Get up, take your bed and go." and he got up and the people said "What is this?

We’ve never seen it like this before!" They opened their mouths in wonder, and could not close them.  A wonder is something that causes people to open their mouths and say we have never seen it like this before.

I believe that God will do something new in the life of somebody today. Our God is a God of wonder. Not only that, He does wonders too. In 2nd Chr.6:18 the Bible says the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him.

Imagine someone so big that the Heaven of Heavens cannot contain and yet He lives inside a man. I know He lives inside me because in 1 John 4:4 the Bible says, “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world” Who is in You?

Something wonderful, amazing is going to happen to you, and you….yes, you too, today, this month, this year & beyond that when friends, relatives, enemies hear about it they will open their mouths, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

June 2022 - Our Month of His Name on Earth

From our Pastor’s Desk

Welcome to this our new Month of His Name on Earth in Jesus name.

Matthew 6:9 – “…Hallowed be thy name…” The name of the Lord should be hallowed on earth. Hallow means sanctified, consecrated, exalted.

Philippians 2: 9-11 says “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow...And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”

God has given Jesus the name that is above every name. Now "highly exalted" denotes an exaltation to the highest position-an elevation above all others.

The context conveys humiliation that results in honor.

Jesus' obedience to death is followed by a super exalted position of honor and glory.  Mercy Seatizens, welcome to June 2022, “Our Month of His Name on Earth”.

There is power  in the name of Jesus. The only way to get saved is by His name. Romans 10:13 says, " All who call on the name will be saved."

This month, as you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and God has raised Him from the dead and believe in your heart, you will be saved.

This month, no matter what we’re going through, no matter the situation, we apply the name of Jesus by faith, bringing every knee down, and every power into subjection , in Jesus Name.

Amen.

The Person Behind the Name

From Our Pastor’s Desk

Matthew 16:13 –15 “When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14  And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. Then, Jesus made it personal: 15  He saith unto them, But who do you say that I am?”

That’s the question? This is a very personal question. If Jesus were here physically and asked each of us the same question, what would be our personal responses?

The question is not who we think Jesus is, or what the world tells us who Jesus is, but rather who is He to us. It was a very personal question. It was not theological exam.

It was not a pop quiz. It was a personal question that required a commitment on our part, individually. This is our month of His name on earth.

The name of Jesus is so very powerful, for application. And For us to apply that name effectively, we must know the personality behind that name. The reason some call that name & He doesn’t answer is because, they don’t know the Owner of that name and the Owner doesn’t know them.

We can attend all the classes, conferences, Bible colleges, seminaries, Sunday Schools, Bible Studies, take notes during sermons (all these are good and important, for we grow through hearing, learning & doing), but in the end, we may not really the very person of Jesus to us.

Jesus said of the people in Matthew 15:8–9 – “These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips, But their heart is far from me. And in vain they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men”

The most important question in the whole of our life concerns the Person of Christ. Who is He to you? Do you know the Person behind the name Jesus?

I decree victory in any and every struggle or battle of life that we may be facing, in that most powerful  name of Jesus, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Seek God’s Will Daily

From Our Pastor’s Desk

God wants us to know exactly where we're going in life.

He doesn't want us to stumble around, unsure of whether the steps we are taking are the right ones.

Instead, He desires that we have crystal-clear spiritual hearing so we can receive specific instructions regarding the path He wants us to take in life.

In other words, God wants us to stop and ask Him for directions daily!

Proverbs 3:6 says, “Seek  his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take”

The will of God for our lives is not something that is handed to us on a silver platter. We must discover what God desires for us to accomplish.

That means quality time communing with Him and making His Word the final authority in every area of our lives.

May we hear Him daily, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Thy Will Be Done

By Minister Rowan Samuel

This is fact number one - there is a God who sits high and looks low. In fact He looks all around and from His eyes there is no escape.

And that God has a will; it is described as perfect or permissive.

Perfect means ideal; permissive not so much. In the “Lord’s prayer” in Matt 6:9-13, it says “thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”; and while that has not yet happened one day it will.

If you are a Christian you are extremely rich because your Daddy owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Psalms 50.

But do not be like the man who God blessed and he only has thought of himself in Luke12:18.

That man instead of being grateful became a great fool for he was not rich in the things of God and so he died that very night.

Instead of judging a brother or sister on the street; yes they may use your dollar to buy liquor, but according to Dr. Donald Grey Barnhouse he said all I know he is my brother and he is asking, maybe he is perishing.

Be ready to give and be blessed, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Occupy Till I Come

From Our Pastor’s Desk

When God created Adam, before this point, the man was empty!

He was like a newly manufactured computer without any base program/software. He stood before God fresh and empty, ready to receive his marching advance orders.

God looked at this creation of His, and the first commands He uttered to Adam were:

 Be fruitful.

 Multiply.

 Replenish the earth.

 Subdue it

Genesis 1:28 - A nd God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

These became the four cardinal commands on which the whole of human life would operate for divine occupancy.

Quite similar to the same command Jesus left us at His home-going: Luke 19:13  A nd he called his ten servants, and delivered them  ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

God is telling us in both scriptures to fill & divinely occupy the earth with His Kingdom, full of joy, gladness, the Gospel, thanksgiving, encouragement, hope, voice of melody, harmony, unity, etc

We receive the fullness of His grace to occupy, be fruitful, multiply, spread, inhabit & leave a legacy that will benefit our generation, full of His glory, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Thy Will Be Done

By Sis. Marie-Louise Lizima

WINGS Women's Week 2022

Matthew 6:10 – “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”  “Thy will be done” translates into “Lord, let your desire be settled”

What do we mean when we pray “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven?” We are praying that something will happen that has not yet happened.

We are praying that God will bring about his heavenly purpose on earth. We are praying that God would use us to do his will.

When we pray, “Thy will be done,” we acknowledge God’s right to rule.  We do not pray, “My will be done” but “Thy will be done.”

Asking that God’s will be done is a demonstration of our trust that He knows what is best. It is a statement of sub-mission to God’s ways and His plans.

We ask for our will to be conformed to His. Praying for the will of God to be done in and through our lives “on earth as it is in heaven”, means that we are willing to go through whatever it takes for His purpose to be accomplished.

Ending one's prayers by saying 'But thy will not mine be done' strengthens our desire to seek God’s heart and His Kingdom on earth.

Our prayer is that we want to be so aligned with the will and purpose of God that we ask God to empower us to accomplish it, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2022.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.
