Welcome to this our new Month to Render Due Honor, in Jesus name.
Rev. 7: 12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. Next is Honor.
Honor means esteem, respect, and pay homage to, assigning value to, to prize, to revere. Showing honor, then, means treating others respectfully because we value them highly.
Honor is of great importance to God and our walk with Him. 1st Sam. 2:30 - “…but now the LORD saith, be it far from me; for them that honor me I will honor…” But it’s not God alone that we should honor.
God expects that we are to honor all people by treating them with dignity and respect. 1st Peter 2:17 - "Honor all men"… Romans 13:7 – “Render therefore to all their dues: honour to whom honour” In doing so, we will find that endless rewards await us.
So, it’s time to go back to the Source of honor, our God, and learn how to live honorably before God and man. In this our Month to Render Due Honor, we pray that God will put upon us garments of honor.
All of us that labor in His vineyard, the Lord reward us all with double honor and prepare us as His vessels, sanctified, meet for the His use, and prepared unto every good work, in Jesus Name.
