How Fathers Earn Honor

The inherent purpose of all men is FATHERHOOD. Men were designed by God to fulfill the role of a father in the lives of those around him.

Although every man is called to be a father, knowing how to live in this purpose is not automatic.

Men must understand the characteristics and master the skills of fatherhood.

Fulfilling the position and role they were created for means exhibiting qualities of leadership, integrity, responsibility and obedience to the ultimate Father of fathers; Our Father in Heaven.

There is no substitute for father, because we are beginning to see people redefine marriage. In some cases they say a child can have two mothers, but there is no substitute for father. Now, let's get these three facts.

1.A TEACHER is not a father:  there are people who teach you things in life don't confuse them being a father.

2. A GUARDIAN  is not a father: you may be as-signed to stay with someone to bring you up, but it doesn't mean they can take the place of a father.

3. A FRIEND is not a father: you may be brought up by a friend or some relatives and they've done good things for you, but they can never take the place of a father. 1Cor. 4:15-16

Father, accept our thanks for the Gideon Men of Valor of RCCG, Dominion Mercy Seat, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.
