Welcome to this Our New Month of The Ministers of God in Jesus name. Isaiah 61:6–“Ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD, men shall call you the Ministers of our God…” A minister is like a priest, standing for God & the people.
In fact, the Hebrew word "minister" means "to serve as priest." Exodus 29:44 connects the two –“I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office. And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God” While every church member is not a pastor, we are all ministers, as God called every believer to minister to the world and the church.
A Minister is simply some-one who is in Ministry. A servant, soldier, worker, laborer, a leader, a teacher, lifter of the shepherd's hands, helper, steward of souls, etc, One who serves & raises others up to fulfill Godly purpose.
A minister is to be like Jesus who said “But whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; & whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, & to give His life a ransom for many"-Matt.20:26-28.
We are created for ministry, authorized for ministry & called to ministry. This Month the Lord will make us flaming fire Ministers. Our bows shall abide in strength, our arms made strong by the hands of the Almighty God, in Jesus Name. AMEN
