As minsters of God, we must remember that the One whom we stand before and serve is Omnipresent, Omnibenevolent. He is everywhere, working His purpose out, moving in mysterious ways and pouring His blessing on both the good and the evil.
If this is the modus operandi of the one we follow and call Master, what choice do we have as His servants but to be busy in His kingdom?
But often we have come to convince ourselves that service has to be a grand gesture, something that must be noticed and applauded, the perfect assignment in ministry that will exhibit our talent or a substantial contribution that leaves the congregation impressed.
Unfortunately, what happens is that once those scenarios are not present, most of us end up doing little to nothing. But we are called to be up and on duty at all times and in all places. Of course we are humanly constrained but the God we serve counts no service as small.
He says in as much as you do it to the least of my brethren, expecting to receive nothing back, you do it for me. Sometimes we are called to simply look up and smile, other times to pray fervently for souls in danger, to give a dollar or empty our accounts for a cause, preach the gospel or sit in silence with a bereaved soul, pray for healing or pay the medical bills of those who cannot afford it.
The measure of our service to God is in our service to others. The Apostle James says pure religion and undefiled before God is to visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction.
Apostle John says if a man says he loves God and hates his brother, he is a liar, for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
Jesus, in differentiating between the sheep and goats pointed to their actions – they fed the hungry, gave drink to the thirsty, brought in strangers, visited the sick, clothed strangers, visited prisoners.
Fellow servants, all it takes is to be prepared and practical. Look out for one another; keep your radar up, ready to serve, always on call. Doing nothing is not an option.
The Lord bless us all, in Jesus Name. AMEN.
You will have good success this 2019.
Remain blessed.

The Spirit of the Lord God is Upon Me
By Bro. Gabriel Bámgbóṣé
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed and commissioned me to bring good news to the humble and afflicted” (Isaiah 61:1; AMP). This is a declaration of the fullness of the presence of God in the life of the called and the anointed.
There is a particular force that follows this declaration when made by the ministers of God with the conviction of His spirit and anointing in their lives.
One can imagine that sense of confidence and conviction with which Prophet Isaiah must have made this divine declaration followed by the promises of the mighty works the Lord is set to do through him.
There are two connected principles that define the called as captured in this verse. First, there is the Spirit of God. Second, there is the anointing and commissioning. The basis of the anointing and the calling is the Spirit of the Lord God. As the called, do you take the Spirit of the Lord God upon you for granted through the act of disobedience?
Saul was the first king of Israel. He was singled out, anointed, and commissioned to lead God’s people. But he made the gravest mistake of taking the Spirit for granted through the act of disobedience. As a result, the asked for (which is the meaning of his name in Hebrew) lost favor with God. The asked for was abandoned by the Spirit of God and tormented till his death.
The asked for was replaced and damned. May we not be abandoned by God, in Jesus name. Let us consider the life of another Saul turned Paul in the New Testament. Even though he was seen as damned before the Spirit came upon him, he never took the Spirit for granted after he was called.
Paul was obedient in fervent faith even in the face of the greatest adversity. Our Lord Jesus Christ, “though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered” (Hebrew 5:8; KJV). Obedience is an attribute that puts us in right standing with God; it puts us in accord with the Spirit of the Lord God upon us and with the anointing.
To be in right standing with God is the key to unlocking the promises of the great works He is set to do in and through us as the called. May God grant us the grace of obedience to be in right standing with Him, in Jesus Name. AMEN.
You will have good success this 2019.
Remain blessed.

Thou Shalt Secure the Fruit
By Sis. Rebecca Orimoloye
Our God is an Investor. Not just an ordinary Investor but the greatest Investor. The scriptures are littered with examples of God’s investment.
In John 3:16, He gave His only begotten son (investment) so through Him, the world may be saved (expected return). Are you aware that your creation is an investment by God? Gen 1:26-28 backs this up.
The creation of man in His image was a direct investment in mankind. Nothing else that was created can be likened to God, the Creator. His expected return is for fruitfulness, multiplication, dominion, etc Our God, as the Great Investor is looking out for a return on His investment or ROI.
As God’s investment, one of our ROI to Him is our fruits. A fruit is a product of a plant or a tree, such as mango, apple, etc. Jesus, in John 15:1-2, admonished His disciples that “I am the true vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.
Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away (write off); and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit (reinvestment).” It is then a great wonder to note many of “ His children” today are either unfruitful and bearing bad fruits.
In Matthew 7:16, the bible says “By their fruits, you shall know them”. Your fruit is your essence and your virtue. When people think of you, your fruit is usually the first thing that comes to their mind.
We think of Bill Gates and we think Microsoft, Steve Jobs and we think Apple, etc. As Christians, we need to think about what our fruits are. The hint here is in Gal 5:22-23. We need to assess ourselves to see if the fruits we are bearing will qualify us for a write off or a reinvestment by the Vinedresser.
Malice, envy, jealousy, hatred, sexual immorality, backbiting, etc. are not the kinds of ROI that the Lord is requesting of us. Those are all of the world. We are in this world but not of this world.
Therefore, we need to carry ourselves as such – conforming not to the world but being transformed by the renewing of our minds. The Lord wants us to bear good fruits that show us as worthy Kingdom ambassadors.
I pray that we continually ingrain ourselves in Him, so that our fruits will be worthy of His reinvestments, in Jesus Name. AMEN.
You will have good success this 2019.
Remain blessed.

Call to Leadership
By Bro. Sola Afolabi
Isaiah 61: 6 - But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
What is a Call? What do we mean by this is my calling? A calling is to be set apart and equip to do something. A calling sets you apart. When God calls us, He identifies us and sets us apart.
A call means to be summoned by God for an Assignment, a calling is an invitation. Example - calling someone in the crowd. When someone calls you, they usually make a demand from you. When God calls us He identifies us and sets us apart for an assignment.
A person who has a calling always has an assignment. The assignment becomes a burden on your heart, it becomes something that you feel driven to do. It grants you an assignment. A calling is to have a deep sense of Mission for your life, a calling is when you know what your life mission is about.
There are people who do anything that comes their way, there are people who do exactly what they are called to do. Their lives have been set apart to do something in life.
In Exodus 31:1-5; Jesus Called by Name a man name Bezaleel – “And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,. And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship”
As the Lord calls us to leadership (ministry), we pray He fills us with His Spirit, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workman-ship, in Jesus Name. AMEN.
You will have good success this 2019.
Remain blessed.

October - 2019 Our Month of the Ministers of God
From Our Pastor's Desk
Welcome to this Our New Month of The Ministers of God in Jesus name. Isaiah 61:6–“Ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD, men shall call you the Ministers of our God…” A minister is like a priest, standing for God & the people.
In fact, the Hebrew word "minister" means "to serve as priest." Exodus 29:44 connects the two –“I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office. And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God” While every church member is not a pastor, we are all ministers, as God called every believer to minister to the world and the church.
A Minister is simply some-one who is in Ministry. A servant, soldier, worker, laborer, a leader, a teacher, lifter of the shepherd's hands, helper, steward of souls, etc, One who serves & raises others up to fulfill Godly purpose.
A minister is to be like Jesus who said “But whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; & whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, & to give His life a ransom for many"-Matt.20:26-28.
We are created for ministry, authorized for ministry & called to ministry. This Month the Lord will make us flaming fire Ministers. Our bows shall abide in strength, our arms made strong by the hands of the Almighty God, in Jesus Name. AMEN
