From Our Pastor's Desk
Welcome to this Our New Month of Supernatural Surplus, in Jesus name. Luke 5:6 – “And when they had this done, they in-closed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake”
Supernatural has two words – super & natural. Super means “of the highest quality”; above, over, beyond, higher, surpassing; outside the natural realm; divine.
Natural means “of nature”; normal, ordinary; or limited to the earthly realm. So, supernatural is something that takes place outside the natural world; above, over, higher and beyond the ordinary course of nature.
God has unusual ways and unlimited avenues of provision that supersede all natural limitations. When we allow God to move through our faith & obedience, He does “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think” – Ephesians 3:20. We are no longer limited to or affected by the natural realm. Peter had fished all night, from 6pm to 6am, but had caught nothing.
He was completely devastated; he couldn't even go home – no food, no money, no joy! He was a failure. And his faith & obedience allowed Jesus to his boat & Peter received a net-breaking surplus that he had to share. Henceforth, for every Mercy Seatizen, no more failure, no more fruitless efforts, no more frustrations.
In this Month of Supernatural Surplus, our nets shall be full & breaking, our cups shall run over, our barns shall be filled with plenty. In Jesus Name.
Amen.
