An attitude of gratitude enables us to see and acknowledge the fact that we are blessed. An attitude of gratitude will drive us to action. See the account of the 10 lepers in Luke 17:11-19. Verses 15-16 showed worship, thanks, appreciation by just one out of ten, which motivated Jesus to do more, reach deeper in His bounty of good gifts, to not only cleanse the one leper but also make him whole.
Believe it or not, appreciation is one of the most powerful forces on earth. Nobody can resist the power of appreciation; not even God. Noah in Genesis 8:20-22 offered to God after the flood, “…
And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart…” No matter who you are or what you do, cultivate the habit of celebrating people and making them feel appreciated every time they are with you. Always celebrate your boss, your employees, your pastor, your congregation, your clients, your spouse, your children and your friends.
Nobody loves to be merely tolerated. Everybody loves to be celebrated. Irrespective of status, treat everybody like a king. Listen to this quote by William Arthur: “Flatter me, and I may not believe you. Criticize me, and I may not like you. Ignore me, and I may not forgive you. Encourage me, motivate me, appreciate me, and I will NEVER forget you” That’s why this month, we appreciate our Ministers.
You will have good success this 2016.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.

Conveyors of God's Truth
By Sis Christabelle Unobe
Truth: God has given
us the rights of sonship and has called us into fellowship with His son- Jesus
Christ. 1 Cor. 1:9,1 John3:1-2.
The devil wants to us believe otherwise. He
paints a brisk mentality of the life God wants us to lead through fear, sin and
afflicting our bodies with sicknesses
and diseases. God wants us to
live a life of excellence, health and
all around well-being.
The devil
understands that an effective way to
keep the children of God from enjoying
God’s truth is to keep the believer out of the knowledge of his/her personality in Christ. We cannot lead what we don’t know, speak or act.
So he tries to keep
the knowledge of the truth of God’s word out of our lives and keep us
perpetually in bondage and sin. Satan is the accuser of the brethren-Rev.12:10
. When we lead a life of sin, we cannot enjoy the benefits of God to divine
health, prosperity, excellence and longevity. When we go against God’s word, we
lose all rights and protection and are
open to darts from the adversary-the devil.
Ecclesiastes 10:8.

How Do You Break Forth - The Perez Factor
By Pastor 'Deji Adewale
Genesis 38: 28-29 – “And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.
And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez” One of our biggest challenges in life is how to stay in a race when others have gone ahead of us, when others have left us behind.
When our mates, colleagues and contemporaries are way out there and we are way behind here. When our case looks entirely hopeless, such that the more we try harder the more behind we get.
When situations look like we’ll never catch up and do the things we wish to do. When it seems like we’re getting older by the day, but our childhood dreams are not yet fulfilled, that we still have a lot of unfinished business.
But I’ve got great news for someone reading this text, that a special anointing, the Perez anointing, that pulls from behind and propels to the front, will bring you forward and make you a front-runner, in Jesus Name.
You will have good success this 2016.
Remain blessed.

For Divine Performance, Be a God Pleaser
By Pastor 'Deji Adewale
One big concern young people have is being accepted by their peers. As we reflect back on our childhood years, we might laugh at how we changed our appearance in order to fit in the crowd.
Unfortunately, some of us also did things against our own conscience. The young will start hanging out with the wrong people. But 1st Corinthians 15:33 says, “Evil company corrupts good habits.” They might think their so-called friends would like them more.
The fact is you can never please everybody, period. Fortunately, there’s only One Person that we need to seek the approval of. Regardless of what other people say or do, God will never leave you nor forsake you if you are in covenant with Him.
Jesus said in John 8:29; “…The Father has not left me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.” Obeying God can also bring us favor with people. Proverbs 16:7 says, “When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even His enemies to be at peace with him.”
Galatians 1:10 (NIV) – “Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? …If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ” Matthew 6:1 (MSG) - “Be especially careful when you are trying to be good so that you don’t make a performance out of it. It might be good theater, but the God who made you won’t be applauding”
Brethren, ladies & gentlemen, children of God, Vessels of Mercy, let us strive to please God rather than men. If you’re tempted to be a people-pleaser, the sermon of today shares four good reasons to quit worrying so much about what people think of you.
You will have good success this 2016.
Remain blessed.

The God who Fulfills Promises
By Rev. Dr. G.O Chuku
All of us have made promises and broken promises. Maybe we didn't break all of them, but we did break some of them. We’re so used to politicians not keeping their campaign promises. We’ve seen government breaking their promises and failing the expectations of their citizenry.
When someone we love and trust fails to keep an important promise, it causes loss of trust. The vows of married couples - “I prom-ise to love you in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, and to keep myself ever and only for you, till death do us part.”
When those kinds of vows and promises are broken, it leaves a trail of grief and pain. All these happen because human beings forget, are incapable, selfish and their hearts are wicked. Sometimes when they are able & capable, they are not willing. But we have a God who does not forget.
He is not only willing, He is able. One of God’s names tells us that He is able to do whatever He pleases, a name He first revealed to Abraham. He had promised to make Abraham the father of a great nation, and naturally Abraham needed a son in order for that promise to come true. Humanly speaking, Abraham’s body was (procreationally) dead.
But the Bible says he never gave a worry about the natural condition of his body. Likewise, Sarah’s womb was dead but Abraham never both-ered about it. In demonstration of the strength of his faith in the Lord God who had called him,
Abraham kept giving glory to God. Romans 4:21 says it all about what kept father Abraham going in his walk with God. It was a strong inner, unwavering persuasion of faith that whatever “God had promised, He was also able to perform.”
