There are times when God did not come through the way we thought He would - medical test comes positive, spouse wants a divorce, child is wayward, mortgage company calls in the loan, creditor wants to foreclose, hearing of rumors of war, going through hardship, stuck in a hard place & can’t see a way out…
But when we choose to praise God in spite of the storm, He is honored and our faith grows deeper. The sacrifice of praise comes from a humble heart that has been purified by fire - Romans 14:17.
It flows continually from a worship heart in good times and bad. Acts 16:23-25. Heaviness is a depression. It is a spirit. It’s an enemy of our destiny, a spiritual robber. It stops God’s people from accessing God’s best for their lives.
While praising God, we are further empowered and equipped for spiritual weapons to conquer the spirit of heaviness. Certain blessings meant for you in 2019, you will see them in Jesus mighty name.
Anybody standing on your way God will replace them in Jesus mighty name. Shouting for joy, rejoicing on every side, singing are the activators i.e. things that must be in place for your packages to be delivered.
Finally, Habakkuk 3:19 – “For Jehovah Lord God will be my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places”, in Jesus Name. AMEN.
You will have good success this 2019.
Remain blessed.

Stairway to Victory
From Our Pastor's Desk
Suddenly, the battle came to king Jehoshaphat. He didn’t ask for it, he wasn’t the cause; he didn’t induce it.
It just came. 2nd Chron. 20:1 - “It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle…”
Young king Jehoshaphat was a beloved, righteous king who put everything into the service of Jehovah.
But he still came under attack. Three powerful kings just rose up one morning and decided to combine their armory, soldiers, strength and attack him. He did nothing to provoke these kings. Little wonder, David said, many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all.
But, before being delivered, the righteous faces attack too. It doesn’t matter how righteous we are, we face attacks, downturns, loss, adversity, afflictions etc. We are not immune. In fact, the more righteous we are, the more enemy attack we are likely to face.
Scary, right? Many are the afflictions of the righteous….. Jehoshaphat came under a confederate allied attack of a combined army of three nations, but he was victorious. And today, we would see the steps he took unto his victory.
Jehovah Sabaoth, the Man of War, One that has never lost & will never lose a battle, will take over our battles of life, in Jesus Name. AMEN.
You will have good success this 2019.
Remain blessed.

Let the Shackles Off
By Pastor 'Tayo Adewale
What does it mean to let the shackles off? It means having a freedom to do as you please - Exodus 8:1.
Shackle hinders ones movement, it limits us, it causes us to isolate, makes us feel alone, dims our vision and robs us of hope. Shackles will not allow us to praise God the way we really want to.
Things that represent shackles; that hinder us from praising God are sin, sickness, unforgiveness, guilt, low self-esteem, bondage, poverty etc.
Jesus want us to be free from the shackles that may be binding us.
How to let the shackles go off? Shackles won’t go off until you put praise on. Great examples were Paul & Silas, even though they were in prison, bound by shackles, they were singing hymns.
Focus on God, because He’s the only One that can set us free - John 8:36 Grace and forgiveness, learn how to forgive, let it go, there is freedom in forgiveness!
In conclusion, wrap up in praise, don’t only take a coffee or tea break, take also a praise break, praise God for His attributes and acts, and as you do this, every shackle, and chain will break off permanently, in Jesus precious name. AMEN.
You will have good success this 2019.
Remain blessed.

Put it On
From Our Pastor's Desk
Isaiah 61: 3 - To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness… Praise brings down the glory of God.
The glory of God brings down His blessings. The enemies hate people praising God. Praise stops the activities of the enemies. As you praise God, the activities of the enemy in your life comes to a stop in Jesus name.
There are some blessings that no fasting and prayer can bring your way. There are some major increases that will come your way only through offering quality praise. Praise easily attracts God’s presence. If you have tried to solve a particular problem for so long, it may be that the key you are inserting into the key hole is the wrong one.
Put on the Garment of Praise. If you praise God regularly as He wants, you will not need to spend much time making requests. Your desire will be granted before you even ask. But if you concentrate on requests while praying, you may need to put in so much time, yet the result may not be so encouraging.
How often do you praise God? Praising God makes you God focused, while always asking makes you need focused. By the reason of the anointing, before this year runs out, you will wear a new garment, in Jesus precious name. AMEN.
You will have good success this 2019. Remain blessed.

April 2019 - Our Month of Praise For Heaviness
From Our Pastor's Desk
Welcome to this our new Month of Praise For Heaviness in Jesus name.
Isaiah 61: 3 - To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness… Heaviness means unwelcome, burdensome difficulty, laborious weight, persisting sadness etc.
The spirit of heaviness is not of the Holy Spirit, for it brings difficult yokes, heavy burdens. When one is under heaviness, there is depression, despair, dejection, inner hurts, feeling of hopelessness, broken-heartedness.
Jesus, understanding this, said in Matthew 11:28-30 – “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you...For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light ” However, praise is a garment of the Holy Spirit. We need to literally cloth ourselves in praise.
The Hebrew word, labash, used for garment means to wrap or cover ourselves, in praise. The garment of praise is to leave no openings or holes which hostile spirits of heaviness can penetrate.
It’s a matter of our will!! Let’s put on the garments of Praise. In this Month of Praise for Heaviness, the Holy Spirit will destroy every difficult yoke & lift from off our shoulders every heavy burden & weights.
Shackles & chains are permanently broken, in Jesus Name. AMEN

Mourning That Birthed Joy
By Deacon Ike Mbila
In this our month of “JOY for MOURNING” we must make a self-determined effort to remember all we have been taught on the benefits of allowing joy to prevail over all hardship, catastrophe, sad situations and circumstances that might come our way.
We must constantly remember that we have been taught to ensure that a big smile backed by great encouraging scriptures from the word of God must occupy our thoughts/mind/and face - Psalm 30:11, Isaiah 61:2 our mourning will be turned to Joy.
The Bible teaches us that a merry heart doeth good like a medicine - Proverbs 17:22, so we must keep up with the smile and laughter.
There are several instances where the Bible teaches us events that appeared pretty awful, hard, unmanageable, disastrous and hopeless but God turned all the hopeless situations to hopeful outcomes
- Psalm 126:1-6. In spite of the overwhelming mention/teaching of the word, a lot of Christians are depressed, suffer prolonged sadness, and remain in fear of the unknown.
Like King David and Hannah we must learn and practice to encourage ourselves in the Lord -1 Peter 5:7, 1 Samuel 30:6 and Psalm 13:5-6. Today we will encourage ourselves with some crucial situations that birthed Joy.
E.g - Hannah becomes a mother; Abraham becomes a father of many nations; Haman falls into his own pit; Joseph becomes prime minister; Paul and Silas enjoy unusual freedom from prison; God parts the red sea for the Israelites; David kills Goliath, etc.
All our mourning in the night will birth our morning of joy, in Jesus precious name. AMEN.
You will have good success this 2019.
Remain blessed.

He Turned My Mourning...
From Our Pastor's Desk.
Psalms 126:1-2 – “When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them”
This passage is both testimonial and prophetic. It is about the deliverance of God’s people from Babylon back to Zion. This is His Word for us this year 2019 - Our Year of Greater Glory.
The song-writer & singer Ron Kenoly turned Psalms 30:11 into a beautiful song—”Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing…” When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, until it seems as though you cannot hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.
The tide turned for Joseph, turned for Hannah, turned for Job, turned for you, yes “you!!!”, in the past, turned for countless others. This tide will turn too. Know that just as there are forces fighting against you, yes that’s true. But there are more forces fighting in your favor.
Jesus said in Luke 10:18 that He “saw satan fall like lightning from heaven”. And satan took a third of the angels with him. But do you realize that left two-thirds of the angels in our favor? They’re outnumbered.
Satan is already defeated. The war has already been won. We may have to fight some few life battles. But don’t you ever give up. Don’t you ever lose hope. Don’t lose your joy. Be of good cheer. God’s power is greater in us than he that’s in the world. He will turn this tide for our favor, in Jesus precious name. AMEN.
You will have good success this 2019.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.
