War of Words, Part III - WYSIWYG

From Our Pastor's Desk

Numbers 14: 2-3 – “And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! And where-fore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

In the verses above, the people were declaring that they and their children would die in the desert and not enter the Promise Land.

Then, God spoke to Moses and told him to give them this message: Numbers 14:28 – “Say unto them, A s truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you” God told them, essentially, that they are going to get everything they said.  We need to be mindful of the power of words.

Whatever we believe, we speak. Spoken words are powerful. We get what we speak, declare or pronounce. The Lord will grant us the grace to always speak the words of life, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.

You will have a great turn-around this 2020.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.
