At some point in life, we know what our callings are and we have to work to-wards them. Yes you can fulfill your calling but you need determination. God called Moses to bring the Israelites out of Egyptian bondage/captivity.
By the time God’s calling & fulfillment phase of Moses' life begins, he is about 80 years of age. He has been a humble shepherd for half his life, far away from the hustle and bustle of Egyptian society and culture.
For the most part, his life has been quiet, solitary, out in the desert pastures, except when he is home in his family's tent.
Exodus chapter 3, especially verse 9-10 show us God’s call to Moses – “Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt”
Today, by God’s grace, we would explore some of the qualities/attitudes Moses had (between Exodus 3 and 5) that made him determined to fulfill his calling while understanding how those qualities/attitudes can be applied in our daily life.
May we all fulfill our calling and God-given life purpose, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen.
