Right Thing, Wrong Location

From Our Pastor's Desk

Last Tuesday Bible Study, we were taken through the topic “Are you in your right location?” by Pst. Mrs. Adewale. An excellent and revelatory study, indeed.

We looked at Elijah & Mordecai as case studies. Continuing in the same concept of right location, here’s another case study—Us; you and I. Judges 6:11 - "And there came an angel of the Lord , and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites"

This was a stage that Gideon, a man of a great God, a mighty man of valor, decided to do the right thing at the wrong place. Gideon was a man plagued with fear, timidity, and even low self-esteem. He wasn’t at the right place.

When we are where the Lord wants us to be, when we are in the right location in God’s will for our lives, there is a supernatural release of power, grace, wisdom, and favor.

We need to understand that there is a place, a physical location that the Lord wants us to live, raise our children, practice our craft, attend church, serve Him, do our business and work.

But if we are not in that place, for whatever reason, we will not be able to pursue God’s assignment for our lives.

The Lord will grant us grace & wisdom to be at the right location, always, in Jesus Name. Amen.

You will have good success this 2018.
Remain blessed.
Shalom.
