Faith Under Fire

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale

Mark 5:22-23 – “And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, And besought him greatly, saying,
My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live”

Jairus was a man who went to our Lord Jesus Christ to seek help for his dying daughter and while he was with Jesus some members of his synagogue came and told him his  daughter had died, saying to the man in verse 35 –  “They daughter is dead: why troublest thou the  Master any further?”

Couldn’t these friends see the heart of Jairus break when they told him the  bad news? Thank God, Jairus was standing in the  presence of the only person on earth who could help him Jairus was a man of  faith, got Jesus’ attention and received grace.

Brethren, it doesn’t  matter what your problem might be,  satan means to use that problem to  destroy any hope you might have in  the ability of the Lord to help you.

He knows once hope is gone, you are forever defeated. But if he cannot take away your hope, he knows you will find a way to overcome the problem.

Jesus, the Hope of the hopeless, Help of the helpless, will wade into your situation TODAY. In spite of all discouragers, naysayers, devil-helpers,

Jesus will awaken every dead dream, dead vision, dead life, dead organ, dead finances, dead business, dead hope…in Jesus Name. You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.
Shalom.

The God of Perfection

John 19:28-30 – “After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put  it to his mouth. When Jesus therefore had  received the vinegar, he said, It is finished:  and he bowed his head, and gave up the  ghost” It is finished."

Christ's work as Mediator is done. This  means that everything needed for our salvation has now been accomplished  perfectly. Nothing more is  needed. No other sacrifice is  required.

If only I  believe in  Jesus than nothing is  lacking for my salvation. "It is finished." Jesus has accomplished our salvation. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, we can contribute to His work of redemption done on our behalf.

Friend, what sort of work has the Lord started in you? At what point are you now in the program of God for your life? It is the Lord’s will to continue to work on you until He has perfected all of your situations.

How far are you willing to allow Him to go in one area or the other in your life? You should note that if all you desire is an improvement, the Master will not violate your wishes. What are you out for this year - mere improvement or perfection?

May your life receive the Lord’s second touch, a touch of perfection. You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Divine Perfection

By Sis Olamide Oladejo

Divine perfection is the spiritualized in the energy of God, God is really at work on our behalf. There is the full assurance that He will be at work to complete that which HE has commenced.

Whether it is visible or not, the reality is that all human beings have one challenge or the other. When we talk about perfection in our lives, we are usually coming from a background that something is imperfect and needs to be perfect.

What does the Holy Bible say? Psalm 138:8 “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth   me, thy mercy, o Lord, endureth forever: forsake not work of thine own  hands”. Here, the Psalmist appreciates that he is the creation of Jehovah Elyon (the God of creation) just like you and I.

Therefore we  have a duty to remind God to perfect  His work in our lives, but because  we know that we may have taken steps that have worked against what we desire or some evil forces might have vowed that our joy will not be full, we need to ask for the mercy of the LORD just like the psalmist.

Did God pause in the middle of creation? NO, so whatever He starts, He will not leave it or suffer it to be marred. Phil 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”

God is concerned about every details of our lives not only because He knows everything but also because He loves us and wants us to experience what is best for us. Halleluyah.

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Men Walking Like Trees

By Pastor 'Deji Adewale.

Mark 8: 24-25 – “And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly”

The above text is about a blind man in Bethesda whose friends took to Jesus to be healed. They begged Jesus to touch their friend. They were sure a touch by the Son of God was enough to cause their friend’s cure.

Jesus, as was (and still is) His custom, to these men’s request. He led the blind man out of the town, spat on his eyes and put his hands upon him. He then asked the man if he saw anything. Yes, he did see something – men walking like trees.  What a miracle, you would say? Was that the BEST for the man? No!

Even though this experience was clearly a remarkable improvement in the blind man’s condition, it was definitely not the best thing that could happen to him.

His sight improved but it wasn’t perfect. The God of Perfection had not finished His work on him. Our God is not only a perfect God, but what He does is perfect. He perfects healing, gives perfect gifts and expects His instructions to be followed perfectly.

His blessings are complete, precise, accurate and perfect. Infallible, flawless, faultless, errorless, immaculate, impeccable, unadulterated…

You will have good success this 2017.

Remain blessed.

Shalom.

Happy New Year - From Our Pastor's Desk

By: Pastor 'Deji Adewale

January 2017 Our Month of Divine Perfection.

Welcome to this our new Month of Divine Perfection, in Jesus name.

Perfect means being complete, & without defect or blemish. Precisely accurate or exact. Flawless.

Psalms 138:8 – “The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me...” This is God’s promise to YOU, as a heavenly-minded believer that everything concerning you will be perfected, complete without any flaw. It is God Himself that promised, not you, not your Pastor, not your parents, husband/wife, not by your works, strength, gifts, talents, power, intellect, wisdom, not by your logic.

It is the Lord who has begun the good work within you; it is He who has carried it on; & it is He that will complete & perfect all that concerns you. The Lord also intends to perfect you. Yes, YOU! Not only the things concerning you, but also you, yourself.

The Psalmist says in Psalms 18:32 – “It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect” God desires that your character be perfect, your relationship with Him be perfect.

In this Month of Divine Perfection,  He will most assuredly, beyond a doubt, bring to perfection your faith, your character.  He will perfect His purpose in your life. He will perfect your calling;

He will perfect your future. He will perfect His promises concerning you. He will perfect your spirit, body and soul.  Be blessed this month.

You shall be “…perfect and entire, wanting nothing”, in Jesus Name. Amen.
